Rating: Summary: The Best Book on Shame Review: I went through a period of obsession with the concept of shame and read everything I could get my hands on. This is by far the best book on shame. It combines a solid theoretical basis with useful therapizing helps for dealing with shame. After reading this book, I read two other books by Stephen Pattison and I've become a fan. Shame:... is by far the most human of his books; the others are a bit more dry and you don't get such a sense of the humanity of the author, but nonetheless are excellent books.
