Review: I brought this book under the highest scrutiny - and it passed with flying colors. I would reccommend this book to any female I know, whether they lead retreats for a living or are women just seeking to know Jesus more fully. I know the author personally and she is a women of fine character and wonderful personality. A River in the Desert is a five star book, and one that is truly inspirational.
