Review: This book is well written, easy to read, and exceptionally insightful. Taylor's discussion of the "reflective Christian" who finds good and bad both in the secular world and the Church is excellent. Both the human secular world and the Church as a human and divine institution share shortcomings, blind spots and prejudices. Taylor wraps up discussion of all this in this wonderful little book. I recommend it to Christians and non-Christians alike. It certainly helped strengthen my faith.
