Summary: A Teacher's Commentary
Review: If you want some great material for teaching an adult level Sunday School Class, as well as for personal Bible Study, you can't go wrong with the Be Series. From a pre-mellinial, pre-trib rapture dispensational view, Dr. Wiersbe demonstrates excellent hermaneutical exposition of the text and brings the principles to modern culture. Put these books in your library and read alongside of Gaeblein's Commentaries for textual/manuscript insights.

Summary: Basic commentary and practical teaching for your Bible study
Review: This commentary, part of Wiersbe's "Be" series of Biblical commentaries, examines Paul's letter to the Christians at Colossae. Chaper One contains the background of this book of the Bible. You'll also find a helpful outline in here as well as in his other commentaries.

Wiersbe gives a verse by verse explanation of Colossians in an easy to read format. He also adds helpful anecdotes and applications to many of the verses. Remember, this is a beginning commentary and the more serious student of God's word may want something more challenging.

Please use it as a supplement to your Bible study. Dig the truths of God's word out for yourself and then go to this commentary to see if sheds light on questions you may have.Use this as and aid to your study of Colossians. BE COMPLETE provides good information for personal Bible study and/or teaching in Colossians.
