Review: This is the third book that I have read of the "Responses to 101 Questions..." series and, like the others, it does an excellent job when considering its intended purpose. These books assume at least a basic understanding & familiarity with the Catholic Tradition and address their responses accordingly. The "questions" that are responded to are actually an accumulation of those most often asked of the theologian Peter Phan over the course of his career - thus, they are in all liklihood the questions you might be asking or, if you are in a teaching/catechetical position, those that are under your charge might ask. The questions are arranged under the topics of "Eternal Life: How Do I Know?", "Biblical Eschatology: The End-Time According to Scripture", "Death & Dying: Time Made Eternity", "Heaven & Hell: With God or Away from God", "Resurrection of the Dead: A Joyous Reunion", "the Fulfillment of Hope: Back to the Earth". For those who desire theologically sound responses to questions surrounding things eschatalogical (Death, Judgment, Heaven, Hell) this little volume will give you a wealth of knowledge & understanding neither overly academic nor overly technical. The format also makes it easy to return again & again to quickly review particular items of interest. I heartily recommend this book.
