Review: As the title suggests, this IS a practical guide for ministering to grievers. It has basic and clear information about the subject written so the layman comprehends. As a pastor and certified grief group facilitator, I will be keeping this book handy for reference. It is easy to find topics from the Contents page and lots of great lists of issues are in the chapters. I also like the Questions as the end of each chapter which can be used for personal study or in service work. The Appendix has information that would be very useful as a trainning tool. The End Notes are exceptional and useful. Thank You for such a helpful reference in my work with grieving persons.
