Review: Just a quick word to let you know that if you want a good multi purpose Church goin'/travel Bible - this is a good selection. It has comprehensive built in Bible study helps that include a topical index, Bible Dictionary, and standard center column references. The scriptural text itself is free from any explanitory notes or commentary - just the center references (cross references, Heb. or Grk. alternate translations etc.) The study helps are printed in the front and back of the Bible itself and do not interupt your reading of the main text. So, if your one of those purists who think textual commentary is the "corrupt words of men" trying to wrest unscriptural meanings out of the inspired text - this is possibly the right Bible for you. I am happy to report that the binding is good. The pages are bound in folded sections and not cheeply glued in like Thomas Nelson Bibles are. The Genuine Leather cover (please do not buy the Bonded Leather!)is sturdy but flexible and of an exceptable grade. The quality of the paper is good and text show through is minimal - however do not expect India Paper quality. Overall, for the price this is a good general purpose Bible and would make a good gift for a loved one as well.
