Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent, but almost scary book
Review: Dr. Mothieth's book has much to say about the world we live in, but more about what has shaped it and what will shape it. After reading it, you start looking at things you thought were just part of ordinary life, and realize that it might be a secret organization trying to infiltrate society. This is a must read for anyone interested in some background of secret societies.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I read it, then I bought it!
Review: For anyone who is interested in the deeper causes of events in the world, this book is for you! The author ties together the World Bank, NATO, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Illuminati, and Freemasonry, among others, to show who is manipluating events in the world and why. The last chapter provides the key to understanding the whole book! Your view of the world will never be the same again!

Summary: For Any Christians Library
Review: If you are a Christian, this book is for you. Dr. Montieth documented his work to help anyone willing to learn the truth about the "New World Order". Many of us have read, talked, and educated ourselves for years; the facts in this book are accurate. You won't be disapointed with the information you will glean from this gem of a book.

Summary: Paranoid hyperbole
Review: The author of "Brotherhood of Darkness" seems to operate under the assumption that a collection of random quotations and events, juxtaposed with quasi-inflammatory rhetoric, makes for good reading. Dr. Monteith is just that -- a medical doctor, not a scholar. His assertions of Evil running rampant in the world today benefit only from weak supporting evidence -- if any. The primary thesis in the "Brotherhood of Darkness" is dubious, to say the least. Truly, if such a subversive and malevolent society did exist, and was as powerful as Monteith asserts, wouldn't it have prevented the publication of this expose?

To be sure, there is evil in this world. However Christians would do well to avoid this book, as well as any other that touts similar sensationalistic paranoia.

Summary: Has some good info, but comes to the wrong conclusion.
Review: This book could have been much better if the author had not tried to convince us that all these conspiratorial groups - the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergers, the CFR, the Council of Rome, the Masons, even Karl Marx - are motivated by....
none other than.... The Devil!

Yes, that's right, folks, the Devil, Satan, Beelzebub, or whatever name you care to call this Great Boogie Man of religious superstition!

He does include some references from obscure books that seem to show that others have come to this same conclusion; though personally I would say that they were as delusional as the author of this book.

The bottom line is this: Yes, there are "secret societies", though some - like The Trilateral Commission - are not so secret. But to say that they are driven by Satan and seem to operate from this central motivating factor, seems overly simplistic, and in my opinion, very superstitious, naive, and kind of dumb.

There are much better books on this subject, which show a more complex relationship between the various groups, a more human motivation (greed and power), and have more academic references than this book, which sometimes relies on books published by some small religious publisher as proof of its outrageous conclusion.

Summary: Brotherhood of Darkness
Review: This book would generate alot of negative feedback because the truth is often very scary and flat out unbelievable to anyone not well researched in this area. There is so much information in less than 150 pages that it's stunning and needs to be read several times to be fully appreciated.

Summary: I read it, then I bought it!
Review: When I began to look into the NWO four years ago, I saw references to Satanic worship by people in high places. I refused to accept it. As I learned more and more, I still found myself resisting it. Well, it really is happening, and more wide spread than most people could ever imagine posssible. At infowars.com you can obtain a video with footage from Bohemian Grove if you want more visual type evidence. This book gives a pretty good account of some of the evidence without going into any great detail. It's excellent for someone new to the subject. I thought the Dr. could have gone just a little further into some examples of what some of these institutions finance and are involved in. For example, the great tax exempt foundations. When we look at some of the people running our society, we truly don't have any idea of what we're dealing with.
