Review: Last year, my beloved husband of 38 years went home to be with the Lord. The anguish and despair was so overwhelming. I had the opportunity to be a part of a family devotional time where they were using "A Prayer That Moves Heaven." It so touched my heart and gave me hope to look forward and see God's provision and guidance even through this horrible dark time. I have read my copy several times through that last year. The Chapter titled "Stand Still" helped me to realize that I needed to wait upon the Lord to help walk me through this time. I highly recommend this book to anyone searching for hope, courage, and direction. I learned that through putting my focus on my Heavenly Father, trusting Him to lead me, and then "Standing Still" and listening for His voice, I could make it. I hope you find the same encouragement I did in reading this great book.

Review: Short enough to read in one sitting, this book is a good study of one prayer that Jehosaphat prayed. The author takes you through the passage emphasizing different points and how to apply them to your own life. Many Christians will know most of the 10 points, but it always helps to hear them again. This would be a great book to share with others going through difficult times and challenges, or who need encouragement with their prayer life.
