They are the "bridge" into the twenty-first Century. A high percentage of this age group already attends church, but a low percentage of them are making commitments to Christ. Rainer believes that churches need to have children and youth evangelism emphasis, not just youth programs. Beyond identifying the tendencies of this generation, he shows characteristics of "bridger friendly" churches.
