Rating: Summary: Simple Logic Surpasses Complex Delusions Review: Never before has a book successfully tackled so many subjects and kept it simple, until now. The one page format per topic may be the best thing for most readers, but it is still full of technical backup to support its claims. The footnotes show Bruce did his homework. This is good research that doesn't read like a research paper. Science has a proud moment whenever the research reflects the facts. This book also includes worldview issues that are Biblically based. These points are the highest level of human wisdom and outside of science. Bruce has included both because origins is also outside of science. One quote (pg V-15) sums of why reading this is important: If evolution is truly a fact of science and has overwhelming evidence supporting it, then there is nothing to fear from this approach [knowing and using both sides of an issue] and truth will triumph over fantasy. Macro Evolutionists (nothing to man) will not like this book. it exposes their unguarded assumptions as lacking in factual support. Micro evolution (within kind, observed changes from pre-existing information) will find this a delightful book worthy of sharing with anyone willing to think on both sides of the issue.
Rating: Summary: Great summary book for the EVIDENCE of creation vs evolution Review: This is a wonderful book with many summaries of the evidence and the misuse of evidence concerning the debate of creation and evolution. I have been an electrical engineer for almost 20 years and was taught and believed that we are all here as a result of some cosmic roll of the dice. Since that time I have read several good books like "Darwin's Black Box", "Darwin on Trial" and "Genesis and the Big Bang". I have also heard other science oriented persons give lectures on why evolution has actually been proven false by the very evidence that is being used to promote it. I found this book, "Search for the Truth" to be a wonderful summary of this information. Its overview style, with short one page understandable articles, makes it a great place to start in understanding the world around us. It also provides enough information to get anyone who is technically inclined and really wants to find the truth pointed in the right direction. I highly recommend this book!
