Review: "The Excellent Wife" because it clearly follows the biblical perspective deals superbly with the "S" word that 21st Century women fear - submission. Women's true strength comes in understanding and utilizing the truth of submission and Martha Peace is a truly effective teacher. After pursuing education and career and being successfully independent (single) for almost 40 years, my future successes will be demonstrated in my role as wife and I'm striving for excellence to the glory of God! It's too hard working against your mate, and we should be "equally" yoked but someone's got to be the "head" - I'm truly happy to be his "crown"!

Review: Martha Peace brings the scripture alive in what I was already feeling. My love for God and my husband were never failing, but this book has helped me see things more clearly and solidify my relationship with both.

Review: This book and Bible Study was one of the best studies I have ever taught. Two years ago I got a group of young ladies together in my church, and challenged them to be Excellent Wives. Well, needless to say, we were all very blessed. I have been married 32 years and I couldn't believe all the good things I learned. I combined the lessons in this book with my life experiences to use as examples. Sometimes we laughed until we cried, and other times, just cried. The girls were so open and shared their shortcomings as well as their victories. Not only did we all get to know each other better, but we had a wonderful blue print to guide us through it all. God's Holy Word. Martha Peace did a great job in putting this study and workwook together and for that, I am so thankful. I am looking forward to teaching this study again this fall. Wheather you are going to teach this or just read it for your own enlightment, I am sure you will just love it as much as I do. Get the book and have a great time being the Excellent Wife. When my husband tells me, as well as others that he has the excellent wife, it just thrills me to death. Thank you Martha Peace.
