Review: The late Dr. William L. Lane provided us with the most detailed work on Hebrews ever produced. It is very satisfying that this great work is from a solidly evangelical perspective. The introduction is magnificent. The work is technical and detailed, yet it is quite lucid for the informed layperson. If you at least know the Greek alphabet and can use an interlinear, you can follow the exegesis with great benefit. It is a goldmine for Greek students, pastors and teachers. This is the best work available on Hebrews.
