Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT Review: If you are looking to get with God and clear up your life this book is for you. It leads you into a intimate relationship with God. It takes forty days to go through the book, it took me 60 so don't get discouraged if it takes you longer then it is supposed to.
Rating: Summary: The perfect prescription for a wounded spirit. Review: No single book since the Bible itself has so affected my life in such a personal way. On "The Journey" Signa bares her soul as she leads the reader to bare theirs. It is a revealing look at an all loving, all merciful God who stands waiting for the believer to yield to His presence. On The Journey you will learn to yield and in yielding you will grow. That Growth will bring you to an intimacy with Christ that hither to was nearly unattainable to the average "Christian." I know the change it has made and is continuing to make in my life. I now hunger to pass this knowledge on to others.
Rating: Summary: Becoming real with yourself and intimate with God Review: Signa Bodishbaugh may be unfamiliar to most of us, but when her book is read she will become like that friend that knows how to speak the truth in love and leave you cherishing the pain of it. With the myriad of books being written on the devotional life, it will surprise you how much this book stands apart from the rest, how much it draws you out of yourself and your needs to the intimate place of God's presence and God's ability to recreate and restore. Like me, you'll want to meet this author and put a face to the honesty, the self-deprecating humor, the truthtelling knowledge of this fellow "traveler" on the journey. This book fully deserves the term "classic", but, make no mistake, there is a price to pay to understand it. Join me in the joy of paying that price.
