Summary: Excellent Book
Review: Excellent book by Pastor Wayne Cordeiro. Pastor Wayne is a gifted writer and I have bought several copies of this book for friends.

Summary: Attitude is Critical
Review: This book has helped me in both my personal life and in my teachings to the church in which I pastor. This is not a theological piece filled with the depth of doctrine. It was not written to be that - it is howevever a look at biblical perspective to having a healthy heart - the type God can really use. Don't waste so much energy on the negative and on your past - look to all that Jesus provides for you and the power for you to live a heart-healthy successful life.
I love this book and I love Wayne! He is the real deal and New Hope and more imporatantly his heart to serve the body of Christ is proof of this.

Summary: PMA-type theology!
Review: Wayne Cordeiro almost talks like Napoleon Hill book, although he dresses it up with Scriptures. It's not surprising that John Maxwell, and other PMA-types like it. It could've been sold at an AMWAY function. That business is big in Hawaii where Wayne comes from. Maybe he's forgotten that God doesn't call us to be successes, but to be faithful. Nowhere in the Scriptures is this idea of "attitudes attracting success" found, unless you go to his church, I suppose. But I'd stick to the Bible, unless you want some kind of populist, ear-tickling philosophy dressed as theology. Find something else - like Oswald Chambers or Dietrich Bonhoeffer. That's real stuff. Or what about C.S. Lewis? Or how about the Bible? Now that's radical stuff.
