Summary: Catholic Students Take Note
Review: As a former Mormon looking into Catholicism, I was very impressed with this text. I've only heard what Mormons and Protestants have to say about the Catholic Church, but until now, I've never bothered to learn from the source itself. Shame on me. I must say that Mormons and Protestants grosely distort the teachings of Catholicism. So much so that one must wonder why those who profess to have corrected the "errors" of the Roman Church must resort to libel and distortion in order to prove their point. Would you ask a rocket-scientist how to paint a masterpiece, or would you ask an artist? You should always seek your information from the sources themselves, rather than rely on others for information! This is one of the few books that I've read cover to cover.

Summary: correction to john garcia
Review: first of all that exert that john garcia gave is what the catholism states. This book is written by a john obrien who was a catholic. He is showing the incorrectness of catholic ways.In this book it clears up the misunderstandings about sundayworship and how catholics somehow deem themselves worthy to change gods holy day of worship. If you like millions of others want the truth I urge you to buy this book and read for yourselves the truth instead of just believing everything your told. This is an excellent book but if you want more information then read the bible

Summary: correction to john garcia
Review: Here's a little excerpt from the book talking about communion:
"When the priest announces the tremendous words of consecration, he reaches up into the heavens, brings Christ down from His throne, and places Him upon our altar to be offered up again as the Victim for the sins of man. It is a power greater than that of Seraphim and Cherubim. The priest brings Christ down from heaven, and renders Him presenton our altar as the eternal Victim for the sins of man, not once but a thousand times! The priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows His head in humble obedience to the priest's command."
I ask you, "Who is more powerful, a priest or God?" Don't buy this book. Instead go here: ... and buy Preparing Catholics for Eternity. This book will change your life.

Summary: A great book
Review: This is a fantastic book on the catholic faith. As a former mormon investigating the Roman church, I've discovered that much of what I knew of the RCC came from Mormon and Protestant sources that resorted to libel and distortion to discredit the church. I'd recommend this text to anyone looking to discover what catholicism really teaches. Any Christian looking at history must investigate the Roman Catholic Church if they are to die with a clear conscience.
