Review: I picked this book up at a resale shop on vacation just to have something to do in my spare time. The moment I read the first page, I was hooked! The author brings the story alive; in fact I found myself holding my breath while turning the page to find out what happens next. I'm not that Bible literate so this book explains so many facets of the early Christians that I just didn't know. It would be a great book for someone just beginning their Christian journey or for someone wanting to educate themselves on their faith.
