Rating: Summary: Excellent overview of major ethics issues in counseling Review: Dr. Sanders and contributing authors give a realistic picture of the ethical issues that face Christian and secular counselors. The issues are well illustrated by examples and evaluation of the right or wrong responses. Not just a book for professionals, strong chapters are devoted to pastoral and lay counseling. Appendices feature Codes of Ethics from major associations in counseling and psychology. This is a fine addition to any professional's library, a must-read for counseling students, and a great gift for a pastor or church counseling ministry director. I'm using this as a primary text for my graduate students in Ethics and Law for Christian Counselors. Thank you, Dr. Sanders, well done! Dr. Kathie Erwin
