Rating: Summary: Excellent Choice for a growing Church Review: If you have a small Church or a "Mega-Church", this book is for you! We are currently using it in a men's small group study and the classes are continually growing. the chapters are challenging and the study questions at the end of each chapter are very in depth and keep with the theme of each chapter. If you get this book, you won't be disappointed.

Rating: Summary: Nice book, great cover Review: The author obviously loves the Lord and His people. But the rope is still too short. I Corinthians 1:4-- "I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; that in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and [in] all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." Interesting! The grace of God given us so we come behind in no gift waiting for Jesus. What gifts of the Spirit does your church manifest on Sunday morning? Yes, we are to be like the First Century Church...not coming behind in any gift. If we neglect and mock any gift of the blessed Holy Spirit, who longs to be Himself among us and minister to us in all His fullness, we grieve Him, we quench Him, and we are definitely 21st and not First Century.
