Review: I love this devotional. I am excited to have discovered Catherine of Sienna, whom I had never heard of before reading this book. The book is a 30 day devotional that includes a morning reading, a thought for reflection through out the day and an evening prayer. I very much like this structure, but the content is what made this such a wonderful read. Using brief passages, this book contains biblical truths that are profound, inspirational and challenging. God's love for me was reinforced every day in each passage. Familiar passages of Scripture came alive to me. I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a devotional which goes far deeper than cute stories loosely tied to the Scripture.
