Summary: From the author of The Spirit of Joy
Review: I don't know if I've read this entire book, because it one of those special books that sits on my desk to be opened in moments when I seek inspiration. It has been my experience that every paragraph is a gift, every page an abundance of truth. It shares, with profound insight, the meaning and value of life, and how we can experience that meaning and value day in and day out.

Summary: essential reading
Review: Like Marianne Williamson's A Return to Love, this book is written by an author who acknowledges being influenced by the teachings of A Course In Miracles (ACIM), and it essentially condenses the thought behind those teachings into an easy-to-understand format. Despite its title, it's not a religious book nor is it dogmatic or conventional. I stumbled upon it while casually browsing in a bookstore in '01, and as soon as I picked it up and read the first few sentences in the "Authors' Prefaces," I found myself holding back tears. I knew, and still know, that this book resonates with truth, and it is one of the most important books I have ever read; every word is profound. I recommend this book for people who have a hard time wading through ACIM. In fact, I think everyone should read it.

Summary: A beautiful book
Review: This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. Yet I know that even 5 years ago it would not have touched me. Growing up as a mainstream Christian, I knew that there was truth in what I was taught, but there was also much that did not resonate as an adult. This book can bring clarity to anyone on the spiritual journey, and especially those who know in their hearts the the Christian journey is for them.
