Review: Bible prophecy says that the scriptures will be restored in the Last Days. This Bible is the restoration of the scriptures. Ferrar Fenton has painstakingly translated each word from the original Hebrew, Greek, Chaldean and Arabaic languages directly into modern English. The KJV, by comparison, was translated from the original languages first into Latin, then French, then into King's English in 1605. Ferrar Fenton's correct translation is a "must have" for every serious Christian.

Review: I wish to recomend this translation of the Holy Bible to anyone who seriously wishes to understand the meaning of scripture. If you were to compare the words used to correctly decipher the writing in Hebrew, to the words which Ferrar Fenton chose to use for his translation, you will find that his work is the most exact way to understand the Hebrew and Chaldean meaning, published even to this day. The Greek is also of the highest level due to the fact that Mr. Fenton chose to format the passages as to what they meant, instead of rewording them as they appeared in obselete languages, as previous translators did, leaving us searching the concordances and lexicons to find out what the passages meant.

If you choose this Bible, you will be fascinated by the ease of reading, and the ease of understanding the meaning of each individual event, or prophecy. Please purchace this Bible, and may Yahweh God bless you as you come to the next level of understanding.

Summary: Ferrar Fenton's Holy Bible in Modern English - A Truely Fant
Review: There seems to be hundreds of translations of the Holy Scriptures around. But, it is only once in a great while, that one comes along, that is truely breath taking.

Mr. Fenton learned the languages that were used to make this translation. He also placed the scriptures back into verse, in the places where it was appropriate. Thus, as an example, the Psalms now read as the songs that they were originally written.

A pass thru the 23rd Psalm, a part of our Bible, that everyone is familar with, will now take on new life, as you are able to see this in its intended form.

While this translation is not annotated as well, as other translations, it is easy to read and understand, and it a most worthwhile addition to any household. I greatly recommend that you purchase a copy of this work, and add it to your home.

And, when it arrives at your house, turn to the 23rd Psalm and enjoy!

Review: This bible is far better than the traditional ones available.I do not know how anyone could successfully cast doubt on the acurracy of the Ferrrar Fenton translation of the holy bible.If I were permitted only one bible. This would have to be the one.

Review: This Bible is truly a clear and accurate translation from the original Hebrew, Greek, and Chaldean texts. The books of the Bible have been re-arranged in chronological order so as to present a better understanding of the chain of human and Divine events. If you owned no other Bible than this one, and had no Concordance, or other cross-reference materials, you would gain a better understanding of God's word with this Bible alone. It is great for study because it uses classic dialectic English from which our current-day English is derived. The 'thees' and 'thous' are finally gone rendering a beautifully fluid binding of the scriptures into one exciting story after another. It reads more like a factual novel than a broken English translation from a foreign langauge arts course. I might point out to those who've never thought of it before, that when the KJV was written Old English had only about a 25,000 - word vocabulary. When Fenton finished his work in the 19th century, English had evolved to a language form that could dynamically describe (with accuracy) the events in the original Holy texts with over 10 times as many words at his disposal!
