Summary: Rediscover the TRUTH, rediscover GOD
Review: A fabulous book. I read the Bible and wonder whether it's a holy scripture or traditions or a combination of the two. I read this book and it answered my questions in plain and simple language (no philosophy or theology). I as an engineer can relate to the deeper meaning of this book. If you have a good understanding of Science this book is for you.After reading this book, I read "Jesus Prophet of ISLAM". This book does a wonderful job of tracing the history of Jesus and his message. I now have no doubt, scientifically or historically, of Gods message to man and his promise in the Quran. It's such a shame that our priests, leaders and the media mention none of this. In fact they do a wonderful job of completely hiding it. Islam is definitely a religion revealed by God and explains the religions that preceeded it. We are doing ourselves a huge disservice by ignoring it. Hats off to Maurice Bucaille for taking the time to do the research and presenting it so honestly. He has made my search for God much easier.

Summary: mind-Intriguing
Review: As a person in the scientific field, I don't accept or 'believe' anything if it did not make sense or if it was not supported by scientific facts.
There are a lot of contemporary scientific facts and theories:
- The Big Bang theory in the creation of the universe.
- The expansion of the universe.
- Water is the basis of life
- Living creatures, including humans, are made mostly of water.
- The embryonic protective layers
- The medicinal properties of honey
- ... ... etc
All these facts are mentioned in the Quran as the author explains. After reading the book, I paused for a while and then said:Hmmmm!
Re-examining one's self and one's faith almost immediatly follows.
Of course, everyone can come to whatever conculsion they wish. My personal conclusion is: I am one step closer to finding the Truth.

Summary: The Truth revealed ! It abolishes all myths about Islam !
Review: Dear fellow Readers, Specially my christian & Jewish cousins. Its about time that yopu refer to this book with a clean mind and without prejudice and you will clearly see the ONE True God and his manifestations in the everyday Laws of nature, that are science and the confirmation of all those in the Holy Quran ! The non-muslim readers may at first sight find it a bit agressive towards their religion but they should realize that they themselves are the victims of Politically oriented interests that led to the change of the original heavenly scriptures alltogether during the course of centuries. The simplest fact being that Bible has so many "Versions" while Quran is still the same as it was 1400 years ago ! just because of one simple reason .... God has promised in the Quran that he will save this "LAST TESTAMENT" in the original form for the generations to come unlike the previous scriptures ! Due to this Purity of the Quran, We even today find so many unexplainable truths about modern scientific aspects that are hidden in the Quran. I recommend this book to every person who knows and understands logic and can judge without any prejudice.

Summary: Marvelous! Unbiased and Objective!
Review: Excellent Book! Excellent Work, Full of facts. It is out of this world. It is real eye opener. Basic facts are same, so there is no question of book being outdated. It shows that how much a French can be unbiased and objective while analyzing the facts. This book is for you if you are lost reading atheist. The book shows that religion and science not only can co-exist but also they complement each other. Finding a truth is more like rely race. You can go up to extent with the help of science and then you have to pass the stick to religion Note: One need to read this book twice with objective mind to understand. If a person doesn't understand first time, before writing the comments the book should read again. Buying the original Koran will also help.

Summary: No longer an agnostic! Quran is the word of God!!!
Review: I appreciated Dr. Bucaille's honesty. Finally, science can look up to religion rather than look down upon it. All of the scientific and historical flaws in the Old and New Testament (even Jewish and Christian scholars acknowledge them) point to the fact that these books are not divinely revealed. As for critics of the Quran's absolute compatibilty with science, I can provide a list of Many! non-Muslim scientists from different specialities and regions that affirm Bucaille's conclusion. Some include: Keith Moore, E. Marshall Johnson, Joe Leigh Simpson, TVN Pershaud, Tejatet Tejasen, Gerald C. Goeringer, Alfred Kroner, William Hay, Pete Palmer, Yoshiosi Kozan, etc. Religious prejudices die hard, but truth will inevitably prevail. PS. Dr. William Campbell's "rebuttal" was the most prejudiced and uninformed piece of writing I have ever seen. He has no knowledge of Quranic exegesis and interprets it like the Bible. At some points, I laughed. Hitler also "proved" that the Jews were inferior, but no one except the already narrow-minded bought his claims. The same holds true for Dr. Campbell's book. It's sad that people like to blind themselves. As the Quran states, "But only those who have wisdom understand."(3:7)

Summary: Reply to: Muslims Believe that Earth Is Flat.!
Review: I recommend this book to everyone, and I'd suggest that you return to the authentic resources first before making any judgments.
I don't think that Al-Mufti of Saudi Arabia would announce a fatwa in 1999 that he will whip Sheikh Al-Sharawi because of two simple reasons:
1. Sheikh Al-Sharawi was not under the jurisdiction of Al-Mufti of Saudi Arabia, he was an Egyptian resident, and
2. Sheikh Al-Sharawi died in June 1998 (Al-Mufti wouldn't whip a dead person, would he?)
And regarding the explanation of the word "Bussataa"; why don't you go first and check the meanings of that word in the Arabic dictionaries before you present your explanation. That word has many meanings and you can't just pick the meaning that you like, it has to fit the in the context rightly. Moreover, I never read in the Quran's interpretations or the explanations that this word meant "Flat". I'd suggest that you read from authentic Islamic resources. I wish you to be guided to the straight path.

Review: If the scriptures are really from the heavens then they must conform completely and perfectly to scientific knowledge. They must not contain a single sentence or word that contradicts scientific knowledege or breakthrough. They must be perfect and without error. Although Maurice Baucille was a Christian when he wrote this book he has proven beyond doubt what we Muslims have known for over 1400 years that the Qur'an is perfect, errorless and completely conforms with scientific knowledge and discoveries. Science has only recently begun to prove what we Muslims were told in the Qur'an over 1400 years ago. The Qur'an is perfect and is the word of GOD becuase only the word of GOD can be perfect. If anybody has any doubts on the perfection on the Qur'an or would like to see the many inconsistencies in the Bible he should surely read this book. A must for scientist who believe in GOD or are seeking the truth. I am a physician by trade and it has only proven to me things I already knew from medical school.

Seeking the truth is part of every intelligent man's responsibility.
This book is an intelligent piece of literature and deserves our attention. Whether you are an agnostic or you are an atheist or of course a Christian; take a few quality minutes and give Dr. Maurice a chance to give an unbiased scientific study of Quran and the Bible.
