Rating: Summary: The God Makers Review: Find out about the Mormons for yourself, don't ask the fox who ate the chicken
Rating: Summary: Golf help Review: he Mormon church is a godless institution teaching what Paul warned about in Galatians 1:8-9: Very ironic that Paul in verse 8 even uses an angel reference. Why? Because Joseph Smith claimed that Mormonism was delivered to him by "angel of light." I wonder if that same Angel of Light that spoke to Smith also made an appearance as a serpent in Genesis Ch. 3 promising that Eve that she will never die and will become God?The book gives a Christian exegesis that shows Mormonism is not consistent with the Bible and has at its heart, a works-based theology. Oh, if the Mormons could understand God's grace (Ephesians 2: 8-9) and not be caught up with their man-centered works and efforts. I pray for Mormons and I have a dear friend who converted to Mormonism from Protestantism because he was not ground in the Word. Mormonism is particularly deceptive because it wraps itself in such a pleasing package of family values and clean living. But tear the facade apart and you find a set of beliefs that will make your eyes roll. Just one weird Mormon belief: God once had a body of flesh and bone like we have. He progressed to Godhood. All Mormon men are now working hard to reach Godhood themselves. The men and their earthly wife will eventually have their own planet where they can be God to their own society of created beings. (Probably Mormons too.) I imagine this is very appealing to men to have eternal sex but we must remember what scripture says in Hebrews 9:27. "It is appointed onto men to die once, then judgment." The bible is clear that Mormons will be judged, not populating planets out in the universe. Hundreds of bible references contradict this theory. But the Mormon Church and Satan fight those arguments off. Mr. Decker and Mr. Hunt successfully repudiate this godless heresy. Highly recommend.
Rating: Summary: If this book is all lies, give me some examples Review: I have not read this book but since a Mormon posted a review here without reading the book, I decided I would too. What I find interesting is the fact that every Mormon says that the book is full of lies (as they state in reviews of any anti-Mormon book) but fail to give any examples of these "lies". I think it is because they are not lies but the truth. I have studied the Mormon church and I have met some Mormons and talked with them extensively. I do not hate Mormons but I believe they are misled in their beliefs. The history of how the Mormon "faith" started should be enough to convince anyone that the LDS "faith" is a dangerous one indeed. Dangerous not because it challenges traditional Christian doctine but because it converts many sincere people to this "faith" and therefore perhaps condemning these people to hell (I say perhaps because I believe that there "may" be some Mormons who are true Christians but just have some weird beliefs that they learned from the Mormon church). In conclusion I must say that Mormons are very nice people and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them on a personal level. We just disagree on the truth. I would welcome any comments or discussions on this manner from Mormons or non-Mormons. You can e-mail me at jasonmccoy@mindspring.com
Rating: Summary: Mormonism Exposed!! Review: Thank you Ed and Dave! Well written, and an excellent read. As someone who did not know much about Mormonism, I appreciated this book. Now that I know the whole story, I am shocked! If for nothing else, this book makes an important contribution because it clearly demonstrates that Mormons are not Christians. The "Jesus" they believe in is VERY DIFFERENT from the Jesus of the New Testament. In fact, Ed and Dave demonstrate very plainly that Mormonism is simply a Masonic cult, founded by Joseph Smith. I also now have a greater understanding of how Mormons intentionally cloak their cult-religion in Christianity, in order to lure converts. On top of this, if you read the book you'll discover the truth about Joseph Smith (a criminal, a fraud, a murderer and an adulterer), the early "Apostles" (most of whom were subsequently expelled from the "church") and polygamy. You'll also find out about the Mormon universe of gods from other planets! WOW! Again, thank you Ed and Dave. (And for anyone who thinks Ed simply made this all up -- keep in mind that this man was a Mormon priest!)
Rating: Summary: Satanic Work At its Best Review: This book is a tribute to the satanic work that the devil puts out to draw people unto him and his darkness. Why would anyone spend their own time trying to rip down a church that was based on Gods true church established by Jesus Christ. That itself is satanic and evil. This church teaches love and goodwill to all men. This Church teaches how to draw near unto Jesus and The LDS church IS the ONLY true church.
