Review: I am currently involved with a bible study group that is reading this book. At first, the other students and I were leery of the subject matter. Many people are confused by what the Holy Spirit is, how we receive it, and how it enables us. By doing this inductive bible study I have realized there is so much more to the Holy Spirit than speaking in tongues. Kay Arthur's approach is both unique and extraordinalrily effective. The book is more than a study of the Book of Acts but a comprehensive Bible study. She divides each week into 7 daily lessons, allowing you to do a small part of the study each day. Some days are more intense than others. Each lesson pulls various scriptures from all over the Bible. She then compares and contrasts the scriptures to the Book of Acts. The book also includes a color-coding technique to help you better reference your favorite Bible. This book is spiritually intense, but everyday you go away feeling like you have learned so much. Kay Arthur is able to clearly articulate her thoughts in a way that is enlightning and uplifting. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the Holy Spirit.
