Review: I found this book very inspiring. I first discovered this book when I decided to join a Bible Study group about Excellent Wife based on a Biblical Perspective. Currently, I am single and wanted to know more about what is required to become a good wife. This book is a preparation to becoming a wife, there are only 3 of us total in the class that are single and it makes us not only realize what it is to be a wife (helper suitable for him) but to live as a Christian for our Heavenly Father. This is the part that intrigued me the most and my favorite chapter is 11: Intimacy (as a young independant female this is my most difficult part as a Christian). I am buying this book for someone that is married to an unbeliever for over 50 years and needs some inspiration to keep her going and living for God. Bible Study is in Milwaukee WI at New Testament Church...I want to email Martha Peace personally and I intend to write a book myself and need advice from someone that has already done it! Go Girl and God bless you with the utmost love from those that needed to read this book first. I would advise those that are thinking about marriage--WARNING--read this book first!!!!

Review: This book was Excellent! It challanges wrong thinking that has been ingrained in us and held us captive for a long time! The freedom that Martha brings through God's truths is refreshing! I appreciate her accurate use of scripture, her passion, her no apologies approach, and her evidence of growth and the power of God in her life! She gives more information about her background in her second book, Becoming a Titus 2 Woman (which is also excellent!). The number one thing that struck me is how we have watered down God's standard for wives and even discounted the things He established because it doesn't fit the norm of society or what society tells us. But that keeps us locked in marriages that are less than the author of them intended! If you want a totally fulfilling marriage and an abundant life - follow Martha's counsel from this book!

Summary: Also Excellent For Single Christian Woman & Girls
Review: We have a "Excellent Wives" class at Christian Fellowship Center here in Cleveland, Oh. Excellent Wives is our texbook. I personally have went from "if my husband make me made, I won't pick his dirty socks up, and I will vacuum around them!" to "I will pick his socks up gladly, because I realize right now I have a lot of socks to pick up while I am single, meaning I may make him made at me and I would not want him to treat me like I thought I would treat him." I am grateful to God for ordering my steps to take Martha Peace's course with the married sisters. I recommend this book to all married and single christian woman. It will be a blessing to your marraige. It will prevent you (singles) from making the same old "falling in love" mistakes. Excellent Wives prepare you for not just YOUR husband but God, If our relationship with God is like it suppose to be, being a wife will be easy. It teaches you how to be a Godly wife/woman, and it will identify to you those fleshy things we must rid ourselves of before and during our marraige for it to be a holy marraige in Jesus Name. PS. we should also teach our daughters, neices, daughter in laws, grand daughters, girl groups the principles in Excellent Wives by Martha Peace I pray that God Bless all the woman's marraiges who reads Martha Peace book.
