Review: This is a beautiful book of great love. In the context of a children's book, a great Indian warrior chooses for his bride a "plain" woman of good character...not considered beautiful nor bright by the other women of the tribe. The other women make fun of her behind her back. The warrior overhears this and offers the largest bride-price in the tribe's history which includes his beloved white pony. The story has a wonderful ending which speaks of Christ's love for us. I highly recommend it for young girls/women. Thank you.
