Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Awesome learning tool for toddlers Review: We've had our Busy Bible for exactly two days and we LOVE it. Our son (almost two years old) cannot get enough of it. We have been reading him Bible stories (Noah, Jonah, David, all the "kids' classics") since he was just days old. He has always liked the stories well enough, but never got excited about them. The second day we had the Busy Bible I got it out and the moment he saw it he said, "Bible!" and rushed over to me to play with it. He's also saying "Jonah" and "baby hide" (Moses). Believe me, we've read about Jonah and baby Moses hundreds of times and he has never said a single peep about them until now. With the Busy Bible he is engaged in the story and he is *learning*.Now, about the Busy Bible itself. Each page is an interactive illustration of one Bible story. The parent must tell the story that goes along with the picture. The story is not written out in the Busy Bible although a "cheat sheet" is included with it. At the top of each page is a title for the story and the Bible passage where it is found. Some of the activities include...hiding baby Moses in the basket behind the tall reeds, putting Jonah in and taking him out of the big fish's stomach (so funny!), helping Ruth gather wheat, and helping Peter catch fish in his net. They are all very well done. I know the price seems steep for a kid's activity Bible with only 12 stories, but, trust me, this is worth it. I bought it on a recommendation sight unseen and I'm so very glad that I took the risk. If I had seen it before I bought it I wouldn't have hesitated for a second. If you have a toddler who you're trying to teach Bible stories, this is a deal for you. But it now!!!
