Rating: Summary: The struggle to keep one's sanity Review: Running From The Devil: A Memoir Of A Boy Possessed is the personal testimony of Steve Kissing, a Catholic school student who grew up during the 1970's with problematic seizures and a sure inner conviction that the Devil was striving for his soul. Instead of seeking help, Steve stayed silent out of fear, and Running From The Devil is the memorable story of his struggle to keep his sanity through hallucinations and the difficulties of growing up.
Rating: Summary: An excellent tome, especially for the Catholics Review: Steve works with a friend of mine and it was upon her recommendation that I purchased this book. I devoured it in one sitting, a testament to both its ease of reading and my involvement within it. Of the "Growing Up Catholic" books, this is certainly my favourite, and well worth purchasing, especially at its low price.
Rating: Summary: Running from the Devil Review: This book is an easy read which keeps you wanting more. It is a book about a boy dealing with all the craziness in his mind and body, by himself. It really brings back fun memories of being a kid and growing up in the Catholic faith. Steve explains his memories of life in such a fun, entertaining way. Highly recommend!
