Summary: A Breath Of Fresh Air In A Stagnate Field
Review: This trios style is conversational, somewhat folksy, and quite engaging with Thomas's rather dry sense of humor. They deal with simple subject like dreams, the development of individual's psychic abilities, to controversial subjects such as an actual existing hell and many more. Thomas's take and Gabreaels reaction to the soul-mate myth made me laugh. While their chapter on suicide really made me do some deep thinking. The fact that Thomas plainly states that Guides are not "Perfect" was a revelation to me. As in so many of the books I have read they describe their guides as "Ascended Masters", "Perfect Beings Of Light", and "Angels" (You gotta check out Thomas's take on angels, it is like no other I have read). Obviously not everyone's guides are perfect, or else we would all make "Perfect"choices and live "Perfect" lives. So if your looking for a brain dead, everything is "Perfect", we create our own universe this book is not for you.

With that said this work has inspired a fair deal of negative criticism and although there are aspects of Thomas's theology that I disagree with, or that I consider too simplified, there's no denying that The Book of Thomas is an enjoyable reading experience. A real thought provoker unlike anything else I have found lately. I liken it to a breath of fresh air in jondra that is full of stagnate recycled information. I have seen nothing like this work since The Seth books with Ms. Roberts. One doesn't have to agree with everything to derive enormous insight and pleasure from this book.

Summary: Past Lifes
Review: All my life I was taught that God was a cruel and punishing "God." That a murderer will go to Heaven if he repents, but a woman who seeks divorce will burn in Hell forevermore. What kind of God (Father) would do that to his children? In my innermost being I knew that God wasn't like that, and after reading Gabreael's book, I am finally at peace with my belief system.

This book has given me the courage to explore further as to whom I am/was.

All of my life I have had fragmented memories of being a woman during the Civil War period. Past life regression confirmed it. How nice it is to see another validation of reincarnation, and that "God" gives us MANY chances. I now no longer live in fear of death thanks to Gabreael's pioneering work in this area. I am more at peace than I have ever been with who I truly am.

Summary: Finally! A book with the answers to our questions!
Review: AWESOME BOOK!! This book answers questions that human beings have pondered with, on earth, for many centuries about "Why are we here?" and "What is our purpose in life? and many other questions that we as human beings hunger to find an answer to. The answers are all in this book. It's powerful reading! This book, unlike many I have read, doesn't bore you by dragging on and on with tedious and colorful wording and thoughts. This is a fact based book from a true spirit guide "Thomas -The Great Communicator" that tells us what Heaven, God and our purpose on life is and that we ARE the ones who chose our destiny in each life time we spend on earth. Dan and Gabriel were given this special rare gift of insight and truth from this incredible spirit (Thomas) and have done an increbible job. I have read alot of books by many nationally well known Psychic/Mediums and this is definately the one that I feel answers all of my questions and speaks the real truth. When you read this book, you will be filled with complete AWE! It's a book that you simply can not put down! and also it's in a very readable and understandable format. Thank you God, Thank you Thomas,(and the other spirit guides who helped), Thank you Dan and Thank you Gabreael! We have been waiting for these answers for hundreds of years!!! You Did it!!!

Summary: A Metamorphous In My Soul
Review: I bought The Book of Thomas on a Wednesday and had it read by Thursday. A metamorphous of sorts has taken place in my soul after my first session with Gabreael two years ago. After my session with Gabreael she sent me down a path of enlightenment recommending other books by several other empowering psychics such as Edgar Cayce, John Edward, James Van Praagh, and several others. This search for knowledge has opened up to me in such a different way.

Gabreaels book is so enlightening, well written, and most of all thought provoking. It is also soothing and educational, especially the chapter on suicide. How nice it was to know that my uncle whom had killed himself is not burning in hell, nor reincarnated within minutes with no chance of ever working on his inner soul with the issues that caused it in the first place. As for me, she is cast up there with all the great transforming authors and thinkers of all time. I found it well worth the buy.

Summary: I Like Gabreael's Spunk
Review: I find myself drawn to this little book because it is easy to see the authors' great love for people and the sincerity behind the effort, especially their patience with Thomas, who continually reminds them that he is the Great Communicator.

I am also drawn to this little book because the authors are not unlike spunky little David challenging the Goliaths of the New Age, Sylvia Browne and Doreen Virtue, for example, by asserting something contrary to what many of the other more famous and successful spiritual intuitives are teaching, i.e. fate of suicides (they don't reincarnate immediately, but get the same opportunities to plan their next life as everyone else), existence of fallen angels and dark realms in the spirit world (sorry, but they both exist after all), the nature of "soul mates" (relationships here on earth are primarily about growth, not living in a state of unending bliss), etc.

The New Age/New Thought movement has overly idealized everything from our relationship to God, our relationships to one another and our view of life in the hereafter. I welcome some new and more critical thinking into the mix...we really need it right now...that is why I encourage more offerings from these two authors.

NOTE: I am not a friend of the authors. I originally reviewed this book and gave it fewer stars because of the typos and grammatical errors as well as Thomas' overbearing nature...but I read the book again and felt the authors' intentions were very sincere and real and gave them 5 stars for effort. I have since spoken to one of the authors and was impressed with the accuracy of the insights she had about me and my family - some very obscure information, in fact, that I have never revealed to anyone else came through in the reading she provided. The book is not polished, but the authors' intentions are pure and I believe the information coming through, whether it is completely accurate or not, raises important questions about what some other spiritual intuitives are saying right now.

Summary: Thank You
Review: I had never heard of Gabreael, nor The Book of Thomas until I attended a recent Metaphysical expo where I attended a lecture Gabreael was giving on The Book of Thomas. I was astounded.

I have attended many lectures on my search throughout the years, but I had never seen a speaker with such a "Down to earth approach" for dealing with subjects in the metaphysical realm, as often lectures I have attended the speakers speak over my head. What impressed me the most was the fact I watched Gabreael saying a prayer quietly in the back before she spoke. She then spent half an hour covering key components of her book such as what actually happens when one dies, why there are different levels over there, and such. She wrapped up her lecture reminding us what dark days we are living in, and why it was important for each and everyone of us to attend a church of our choice (She didn't didn't hustle any denomination) for worship, support, and to learn. She then spent another half hour answering questions dealing with everything from her book to personal ones. Then after the lecture I tried to approach her to speak one on one, but so did around another hundred or so others. However she stood there in the lobby and answered each and every question we had one on one for another hour.

I went straight out and purchased this book. I had read channeled books by everyone from Ted Andrews to Mary Summer Rain. None were as practical and easy to understand as this one was. I found The Book of Thomas to be an addictive read, straightforward, and easy to understand. Gabreael told us she is currently working on two other books. I look forward to both of them.

Summary: Old School Is Back
Review: I have read "The Book of Thomas," several times now. It is a fast paced read, and I really enjoy the question and answer style submitted by the authors. I also appreciate the fact that it is raw channeled material which is considered "Old School" by today's standards. When I state "Old School," I mean your classic spiritual writers wrote this way such as Nostradamus, Cayce, Roberts, ........ There are very few raw channeled books out on the market, as many of the newer authors such as Browne insert their own personality into their work. So you really never know if the material you are reading is theirs, or their guides. All of the validated information in this book also blew my mind from who Thomas was to personal tidbits about Aber provided by him via spirit. You get a sense of how blown away he himself was in this book.

It covers most subjects pertaining to ones spirit. Everything from prayer & meditation, soul charting, to suicide ........ I look at these two authors as pioneers in today's thought of "Everything is wonderful, everything is good," sort of thinking. As these three are truly "Old School."

Summary: A travesty
Review: I have taught and worked in the metaphysical area for over 35 years and have never read a book on the subject that was so atrocious from both an informational standpoint and an energetic one. (...) I cringe to think of the people that are new to this subject who will be horribly mislead by this book. If you want to learn about what happens after death, please consider reading Journey of Souls by Dr Newton, which is a gem as is Testimony of Light by Helen Greaves. Stay away from this book...I wish I had.

Summary: A Deeper Look
Review: If all that Gabreael & Daniel Aber has detailed in The Book of Thomas A Guide To Life And The Afterlife is true, then it is likely they have gone farther than any other explorers -- at least any other authors. According to Aber, their research is based on Gabreaels direct mediumship (wherein her spirit guide communicates with others in the room while Gabreael is in a trance and the material was being taped), which was also a validation of material he himself had been given years earlier as a medium, but was afraid to place it in print (session 7 page 25). Although I have read dozens of metaphysical books on this subject, I have never come across any with as much detailed information as this one. The first half of the book was fully consistent with all of the things I had previously read about the other side, including the different planes and the fact that the plane we gravitate to is based on our actions and good works in this lifetime. We get many chances to evolve in spirit (other lifetimes) and progress toward the Godhead (true heaven). In the second half of their book the authors give detailed information on reincarnation, soul charting, the genetic code, and even the different levels of hell. Some of which I have read before, some I had never heard of before, but never so much and with the certainty and matter-of-factness of Thomas. When I finished the book, I took a couple of months for reflection on my life and how I have affected those around me by my life path choices rather it be for a positive or a negative.

Summary: Not much of a book.
Review: It didn't answer any strong questions or convince me that any of it really happened.I thought it was trying to please every type of reader with some kind of connection so you'd go away thinking it helped you while most of the book falls way short.
I could sit down and write a story like this if I didn't have to prove anything more than saying the guides told me things no one else could've known--ok I should believe that?? Also they avoid answers to some questions by saying the guides won't answer that now because you weren't ready when they wanted to talk to you.Like I said -not a great read-save your money.
