An excellent text for studying and learning to appreciate the diversity of Religions and Religion of America.

Review: This book contains a thourough overview of an extremely complicated and extensive subject. I used this book in Catherine Albanese's Introduction to American Religions class at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Packed with minute details in some sections, it can be a slow read. Overall, I found it enjoyable and generally easy to comprehend.
