Summary: Please save your money!
Review: My book arrived today. It is very small, only 143 pages of text. Following the text are 4-5 pages of pictures that I've seen several other places. Then there is and "end time supply list" with a price list and ordering information! Gee, another way to get more money out of the reader. The final section is "useful prayers." I'm not finding any new information at all. What I see here is anything that can be found on the Internet on various conspiracy web sites. Saying that I'm not impressed is about the nicest thing I can say. Here is one of my favorite passages in the book (pg. 42, in the chapter about The Warning): "The entire top layer of the earth will shake for twenty minutes. The Blessed Mother has mentioned that it would be prudent to pack away any fine china or other treasures you hold dear." Gee...a comet has just struck the earth...I've viewed my soul as God views it...I might be damned to Hell for eternity ...there is a 20 minute earthquake going on outside my window....but if I manage to survive all of this, I can unpack Grandma's fine china and have a dinner party! Doesn't the Blessed Mother have anything more important to discuss than china? The bibliography is very short. No footnotes are provided for any of the quotations. Keating simply states that the quote came from so and so and such and thus, and provides no concrete source for it. She also quotes Veronica Leuken extensively (almost on every page). Veronica Leuken claimed to have visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary and claimed to have received messages from her. The Catholic Church has never approved these supposed appartions, so using Ms. Leuken as your main source of information is treading on dangerous ground. I am so sorry I wasted my money on this book. I've seen better research and better writing styles from high school students.

Summary: Think!
Review: This book is largely a summary of "traditional Catholic prophecies" that have been rewritten from several web sites. For example a certain person mentioned in the book by his Internet name, World Teacher, is said to be the AntiChrist. This seems unlikely in view of Scripture - how could anyone *know* who he is at this point? The claim is also very old news (10 years or so old...), and information about World Teacher can be found easily on the 'net. Same is true for the concentration camps mentioned in the book. Pictures and information appear to be taken from web pages as a resource. Another example is the cataclysmic events predicted, noteably the meteor predicted to hit earth. This, too, is rehashed from the Internet and breaks no new ground -- readers can get the real, scientific facts from the Jet Propulsion Lab's web page. I give this book a low mark in that it does not break new ground or present a compelling case.

Summary: Final Warning-your survival guide to the new millennium
Review: I was one of the fortunate few to receive a limited galley copy. Final Warning managed to hook me, on the first paragraph and never let go. Final Warning reads like a suspense novel, an investigative documentary and a true psychological thriller all wrapped into one chilling tale. If only a fraction of what Kathleen reports about the visionaries predictions in the book comes to pass, God help us all! Kathleen Keating has a real hit on her hands. Buy it now, because this soon to be best seller will be hard to keep in stock.

Summary: A must read.
Review: I like to think that I am very knowledgeable on this topic, and reading this book opened my eyes even more. Kathleen outlines, with specific sources, why she thinks we are about to come to a crossroads. Kathleen covers the "well-known" warnings like Fatima, but also covers warnings that I have not heard of. Kathleen is genuine about this, and is not doing this to further an agenda or point of view, but inform. Those negative reviews posted have an agenda behind them and probably would have blasted anything on this subject. The book is well-written, easy to read, and still very informative.
