Summary: a must read
Review: This is the first Ann Tatlock book I have read but will definitely be reading her other two. She is a gifted writer who is able to draw the reader's mind and heart into the story. So much awaits the reader, who, in this novel, explores the history of Japanese internment and black civil rights. I was unable to lay this book aside for any length of time.

Summary: All The Way Home
Review: This is the kind of novel that will grab your heart and hold your interest throughout the book. She makes you feel like you're a part of the story, standing right there next to the characters, experiencing their every emotion . . . not merely reading about them.

I've read all three of Ms. Tatlock's novels and they keep getting better and better. I'm looking forward to reading number four. This book is packed, not only with good reading but with lessons in life, of which we should all take advantage. This definitely belongs on your reading list.

P.S. Keep the Kleenex handy.

Summary: The Best of the Best!
Review: This is the third Ann Tatlock novel I have read and I am telling everyone about it. Yes, this story deals with some huge issues, such as racial tensions, war, alcoholism and disfunctional families, but the wonderful part of this is that you are more caught up in the story than in the issues.

I was almost accidentally learning more than I ever knew about racism, etc. while being entirely captivated by the warm story line and it's diverse characters.

When I read an Ann Tatlock novel I am IN the story. It stays with me throughout the day and long after I've finished reading it. I recommend this book to anyone who wants quality, moral and entertaining reading.

Summary: Put this on your reading list!
Review: What a wonderfully well written story. I have never read this author before and was pleasantly surprised. There were so many issues for discussion and so much history in the story that I am pushing for this to be on the required reading list at the high school where I work.
