Summary: a brilliant and unique classic exegetical masterpiece
Review: Brilliantly written and insightfully rich exposition of the New Testament. Unlike any other modern day N.T. commentary. Lenski is a master of Greek grammar and unwavering in his high view of Scriptural authority. His analysis bring the text of the New Testament to light. He probes deeply and passionately arguing his conclusions masterfully. His conservative Lutheran persuation assures a clear, unbiased perspective. A classic that all preachers of God's word will use over and over.

Summary: Great NT exegesis
Review: If you can ever find this for an affordable price, you'll want to snap it up faster than you can say "donumsuperadditum."

Lenski gives great analysis of verbs, historical background, and syntax. If you aren't sure how a particular NT Greek passage fits together, a half hour of study in Lenski will usually provide you with the answer.

Besides the exegesis, there are introductions to each book that give helpful information on the author, date, time of writing, reason for writing, chief themes dealt with, and so on.

Lenski gives you a wealth of NT knowledge. It will greatly assist your work in the Greek NT.

Summary: This is a classic which no expositor should fail to have.
Review: Sell your shirt and buy Linski. This conservative Lutheran exegete ranks in the same pantheon as A. T. Robertson. Here was a scholar absolutely devoted to exgesis of the inspired text. Dr. Curtis Vaughan, my Greek professor, once stated: "I never read Linski without learning something about the text." I agree fully. There are few, if any, single author commentaries on the New Testament that maintain the rigorous excellence that this rare spirit exhibits. His like are gone and shall never be seen again. Buy Linksi, and be an expositor.

Review: This is a spectacular commentary. His Lutheranism bleeds onto the page to much but if you can over look that it is one of the finest commetaries. Lenski is Solid and extremely quotable.
