Summary: From CHRISTMAS ON JANE STREET
Review: The warm, wonderful, real-life tale of the family who brings the Christmas spirit to life on a street corner in Manhattan.

"When my daughter lifted the green ribbon on my gift that Christmas morning, my heart started racing. Despite what I do for a living, I've never been big on presents-giving or receiving them. Up until now. This gift meant more to me than any Christmas gift I'd ever given, or received. This gift carried a message I didn't want either of us to ever forget."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A wonderful story about a father and a daughter.
Review: We live on Jane Street and the Romps have been filling our holiday season with great joy for many years now. They are what they appear to be and have told their story in an eloquent and touching manner. This wonderful story of a father and a daughter reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas.

Summary: A must for December book clubs
Review: When looking for a light book for my book club to read in Decemeber, this was recommended by three librarians and two book stores. One thought it was out of print, but hurrah--it's not. I ordered in through the used book section so all our members had little initial investment. A friend is now ordering it for her book club in Wisconsin.

Summary: Okay
Review: While I thought this would be a story about Christmas in New York I was wrong. The book was mostly about a father/daughter relationship gone sour, and then brought back together.

This was an enjoyable book about how the Christmas season can tear a family apart and bring them back together.

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a somewhat touching story to read this holiday season. Although, this book can be read year round.
