Summary: What a breath of Fresh Air!
Review: I have to sadly admit that as a 22 year old I have never really read a book cover to cover before, until I read Boy meets Girl! I loved every word of it and I didn't want it to end! This book gives you hope and the incentive needed to hold out for something better in your dating relationships! It walks you through the difficulties of others real life stories and then blows you away at the results that can happen when you truly seek GOD's will! I think this book can be helpful to anyone at any age! It is sound, God centered, advice. How could you go wrong with that?! Even if you don't agree with everything that the book says you will appreciate it for its openess, honestly and its ability to make you think about which direction your relationships are heading! Hope you enjoy it! God Bless!:)

Summary: Girl meets God in "BMG"
Review: Refreshingly real, convicting and just plain good! That's what I wrote in my journal after reading Josh Harris' Boy Meets Girl. After reading IKDG and watching the 3 tape series on Love, Purity, and Faith, I still had questions about kissing dating goodbye and entering into God-honoring courtship. Harris' newest book answered my questions. Here is a guy my age being real and bold about the questions and temptations we deal with while waiting for that special person God is maturing for us. I think every one--married couples and singles alike--should read Boy Meets Girl! We live in a world that needs a fresh approach to choosing a mate for a lifetime!

Summary: It seems he Dated
Review: This book is well written and not very theologically or philosophically deep. If your looking for another easy read way to be introduced into courtship...this is the book for you.

The reality is...neither courtship or dating are biblical. Most Americans are unwilling to follow whats described in the bible.

The wisest thing is to get to know God, get to know your parents, and have your parents help you find a mate.

Summary: Excellent
Review: "Boy Meets Girl" is a perfect follow-on to "I Kissed Dating Goodbye". It balances the points put forward in Harris's first book perfectly.

"Boy Meets Girl" is Biblically sound and contains practical and Godly advice on relationships - from friendships - to courtship - marriage. It promotes Commitment, not just feelings within a relationship.

Every chapter brings forth excitement and romance as you read through stories of people that have placed their trust in God alone. This book shows you the good and the bad in relationships and how to navigate through the world of courtship. Every chapter is grounded in Biblical fact and practical advice.

A MUST read for anyone from early teens to single adults. Whether you are engaged, dating, or still single - this book guides you through the ups and downs of life's most precious gift - Love.

Summary: A Must Before Dating!
Review: My boyfriend and I read this book before he asked me to date and I felt it was excellent. I felt really strong when he asked me to date because of the questions we went over in the back of the book after we both had read it. I think that any Christian interest that seriously wants to win and make steps God's way should seek out any litterature in addition to the bible and never lean on "their own understanding". Joshua Harris is a great writer and has a real love for God as well as a true understanding for the human condition.

Summary: Responsible Advice
Review: I read this a month or so after Harris's first. I liked this one even better because it sketched out more of what he thought the courtship process should look like. Having courted and married a girl, he was able to give a number of practical suggestions on things to look out for during courtship. Embracing your roles as men and women, resisting sexual temptation, keeping accountable to your community, treating each other as "more than friends, less than lovers," and so forth. There's a lot of good material to think about in here, without being a formulaic, legalistic manual on what you *must* do when courting. Call it dating, call it courtship, call it betrothal--the term used doesn't matter. And the premarital process isn't cut and dry and monotonous--it's got poetic nuances all over it. The thing that matters is responsibility, and this book gives lots of responsible advice.

Summary: Excellent book!!!
Review: I read this while struggling with the subject of why I was still single. I have the mindset that a life of singleness is much better than a life of misery where you are marriage to the wrong one and unhappy; however, I was still struggling just a bit with impatience. Josh was very honest in the way he approached everything. It was inspiring to read his story and know it could happen for me. When I was 16, I committed myself to purity and saying I would never even kiss until my wedding day. As a woman of 22, I can still say I have kept that promise. The book encouraged me to keep that goal. I read that book at the perfect time in my life and it really encouraged me to remember that the best things in life are worth waiting for.

Summary: Ties up loose ends
Review: This book is a much welcomed follow-up to "How I Kissed Dating Goodbye." It clears up some of the "problems" many readers had with the first book. I found the suggestions in this book to be rather practical and sound, and it is an enjoyable read with some rather touching stories.

Summary: Very Misled
Review: I cannot believe I purchased this book. This didn't help me at all in my constant pursuit of "getting some action." The sentence structure was off and I couldn't find any good parts. Josh Harris doesn't know the first thing about women.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Hard to follow does not go to scripture much
Review: i thought it was poorly written i could not follow his line between dating and courtship. Claire and David apparantly sinned against each other by him telling her he was interested. I don't know what that was about. Nice book to help the author fill his bank account
