Summary: If you don't like cliffhangers, don't read this book!
Review: Having read _The Shunning_, I was anxiously waiting for the release of _The Confession_, so I could finally learn the fate of Katie on her quest to find her mother. This is a fabulous story and Lewis should be commended for not only her gripping writing style but also her accuracy with regards to the Amish and Mennonite religions.

Just as _The Shunning_ did, _The Confession_ left me wanting more. I want to find out what happens to Katie -- does she find Dan? Does she go back to the Amish? Does she instead find a home with the Mennonites? Or does she stay in the modern world?

Summary: Suspensful, romantic, Delightful!
Review: I don't know when I've enjoyed a book as much as this one! It was thoroughly enjoyable, clean, inspiring, with a great plot. It's a must read! And by the way, I haven't read the first in the series, so one could easily pick up with this one- it makes perfect sense. I can't wait to read the next!

Summary: Good, clean reading, filled with intrigue, suspense, mystery
Review: I finished the first book, The Shunning, only to feel completely lost and frustrated...surely this was a cruel hoax....it could not be ending, there must be more. I was not disappointed! There WAS more, indeed, in this second book! Wow! For the first time in all my reading days, I found it completely impossible to resist frantically searching through the pages to be sure this or that did, in fact, happen...things just could NOT go on as they were...I could not wait to find out by reading a page at a time...I had to frantically search the pages until I knew... The continuation of the story of Katherine, Laura, her Amish family, Mary, and the wise old woman...and the bishop...and her true love...this story took so many strange turns and curves, it was impossible to second guess the author. Suspense ruled! Bev Lewis never let me wander from the story line....how could I? I practically read the book straight through! It was just glued to my hands and would NOT go down until I was done. Book #3? PLEEEEEZE!!

Summary: A wonderful moving story
Review: I had the pleasure of visiting Lancaster Co. this summer and then the pleasure of reading not only The Confession but The Shunning and was really suprised to find that alot of what I saw of Lancaster Co. was true and as I read each book I could imagine being right there with the characters. I can't wait to read The Reckoning.

Summary: great book , but....
Review: I know that there is another book after this, but I just wasnt happy with the ending of this book. The story is good and I have enjoyed all other books Ive read by this author. I ordered THE RECKONING so Im hoping when I finish it, i will like the series of these 3 books. The first one was good alone, but I think the second one needed a better finish.

Review: I listened to this book while driving. I did not want to stop driving till I finished the book..Wasted a lot of gas. I do hope and pray that the sequels will be put on audio for us that are in the car so much. Loved it. Can't wait for "The confession and The Reckoning"...Any time frame on that?

Summary: One of my favorites!!
Review: I Loved The Shunning!!!!! I couldn't wait for the Confession !!!! When I was done I checked to see the name of the next book but it wasn't there! What happens to Katie? Does she stay in the modern world? What about Dan? And Rebecca? WHERE IS BOOK 3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: An authentic story of guilt and the confusion of works-faith
Review: I loved this book, and cried as I recognized the feelings she wrote about. My own family heritage in the Kleinegeminde Menonite (Old-order) brings the same feelings of lack of worth, works, and self denial. I feel with her the freedom in Christ to be who He wants me to be. Where is #3?!

Summary: One of the best books I've read in a long time!
Review: I only got this book because I was waiting for a book to be released from another series I am reading, but not I am so glad that I found it! I couldn't put this book down. After I read book #1 The Shunning I went right back to the library and picked up this one. I couldn't wait to read more about Katie. I have recently been reading a series based on the Amish by Lurlene McDaniel. I think this series will definately equal or top the series by Lurlene McDaniel. Just release book #3 soon. Please!!
