Summary: Highly Recommended
Review: This is a wonderful book, whether you are just beginning to learn about the Godddess, or have been on the path for years.Chock full of information, Mountainwater also gives you activities and excercises to help you better understand the chapters. Make your own book of shadows, lunar calendars, decorate your altar. This is not the old "wicca" 101 book. This is Goddess Study...and it will REALLY make you think.

Summary: For the Witch In Us
Review: This is a wonderfull experience into the divine feminine. This book is a valueable addition to anyone's library. If you are seeking to know the Wise Woman Tradition, wether your a womyn or a male seeking to understand your own divine feminine then buy this book. Shekhinah has presented a work which is meant to be used through out the thirteen month lunar year. Go out and buy this book along with a non religous bible cover to keep it safe, believe me if you dont it will be well tattered before the year is up, you'll use it that much. The drawings of the author's personal tarot deck along with the other diagrams make for coloring fun and give the individual inspiring images to work with. This is not your run of the mill book which yammers on like most others, this is truly unique and special, a true gem from the Goddess. May I also add that this is not wiccan, it is wise woman tradition, there is a difference!

Summary: A good place to get started
Review: This is one of my all-time favorite Goddess books. There is truly something for everyone in this book--even men! This book can be used alone, or with a group--either way, the poignant questions and activities will elicit wonderful response. I stumbled onto this book in a [bookstore] about 2 years ago, and it is now very well worn (and read). If you are looking for answers to life's questions, this is a good place to start.

Summary: Terrific Book for Goddess Studies
Review: This is the finest book for finding direction in women's mysteries that I know. It is wonderful for beginners and those who have been working with the Goddess for many years

Summary: Beautiful.
Review: This is the very first book of this kind that I ever picked up, and by the time i reached the beginning of the first chapter I had tears rolling down my cheeks. This book was so healing for me the experience was almost beyond words. Yes, it does exclude "the God" but that is because not everyone WORSHIPS him. This is a book for Goddess worshipers, plain and simple. If you want the God, you're reading the wrong book! This book woke something dormant deep inside me, and ever since I have been hungry for the Goddess, hungry for knowledge...I recommend it with all my heart and soul, but be prepared to wake up! Blessed Be!

Summary: Wonderful, simply wonderful
Review: This was a very refreshing read, making me feel good about being a woman! I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed this. The book is written in 13 chapters, and at the end of each are projects to do and questions to think about. I think this is a wonderful method of study. Many diagrams are shown, and the poetry is wonderful, though some phrases did crack me and my boyfriend up ("my bowels know thee" and "my stomach partakes of thee") :D And I cannot help but think that this book is maybe a little *too* feministic, and instead of presenting both sexes as equals it rises women high above men. But if that doesn't turn you off, it certainly didn't on me, this is a fantastic read and highly recommended! This isn't for an absolute beginner though, and to completely understand you should have some basic knowledge.

Summary: Very moving, very true
Review: This was the first book I ever read about Witchcraft or anything of the sort. I picked it randomly from a shelf marked "metaphysical". I believe that I picked it for a reason. Shekhina is a very old soul, and while she does have some things in her writing that aren't for everyone, her voice is strong and worth hearing. The only thing we could add to this beautiful piece of work is a bit of testosterone...
