Summary: The Celestine Prophecy
Review: A pathetic attempt at writing a story. I found it childish and boring to read. The concepts are quite good and I think could be quite believable but it has been spoilt by the guise of an adventure story.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Has to be read in a non intellectual way
Review: Did the author really went to Peru? I am from Peru an many things he mentiones does not relate to Peru. What do you think? Even though I loved the book.

Summary: A guide for the soul
Review: First in a series of books that guides you to a new spirtual level and gives you the tools for your own spirtial awakinging. Redfield is inspiring and wonderful the passages opened my awarness and gave me new vision. The synchronicity has become like a steady flow of water, everpresent and crystal clear.

Summary: We Are Never Alone.
Review: I have enjoyed the awakened insights of James Redfield in The Celestine Prophecy and The Tenth Insight. I believe we help heal ourselves through "Wholestic Medicine." I also feel refreshed when I see a baby born. Why are the preceptions of brotherhood, love, peace and personal responsibility such difficult concepts. I too, am Christian and my aspirations to an Afterlife remind me to be calm and try to understand the elderly woman, who perhaps, just hit me with a shopping cart, to understand that the heartfelt giggle of a child touches me deeply enough to make me smile and to realize that a member of my earth family in pain needs help and compassion. Being a member of the family of Christ I aspire to the love and security that the Father provides. Materialism and wealth are acceptable as long they are not achieved on the backs of our already belaboured family. James Redfield's books shine a light in the neglected closets of our human capabilities. He brings to light the dehumanizing way people have regressed in subways, shopping centers during a sale, and when they think no one is watching. Is it possible we need to be reminded of the love and the spiritual "high" we shared when we were permitted to create our children and the positive aspirations we have for their well being? I think he brings to light the "glow" of satisfaction we feel when go outside of ourselves to help others. The possibilities which open up to us when we join lovingly in God's Grace stagger the imagination. Maybe in this case, it is the imagination of just the author but his imagination has made me become more aware of the way I respond to the needs of my brothers and sisters and I too share in the hope that soon we may clear our hands of weapons and carry to our family the surpluses we find in the recesses of our potential.

Summary: Unusual and a must read
Review: I have read it and write out the 9 insights in my notebook. It is very interesting and seem somehow related to my spiritual growth and what I believe in.

I like the way how the author defined things like coincidence, higher vibration and love.

Summary: It is a wonderful new path to the old road we all search for
Review: I've read the Celestine Prophecy 3 times, and each time I've read it, I gain more insight into my own personal journey. This is also my third copy of it, as I lend it to someone who in turn lends it to someone else. For anyone who is not afraid to be open-minded, and who gets the feeling that there is so much more adventure and wonder to life than what we already know, it's a wonderful way to get in touch with those traces of remembrance we all have, whether we acknowledge them or not. I think most people are afraid because it challenges their existing belief systems. The prophecies do, but through challenge we grow, and if we do not allow ourselves to be open to that growth we may not die, but we may fail to achieve our own full potential. I can't imagine anyone who lives with or without faith not being positively affected by James Redfield's books. I am currently enjoying the 10th insight again and look forward to 11/99 when the 11th is released.

Summary: Unusual and a must read
Review: If I really love a book, I will lend it out but insist I get it back. If its interesting but not a page-turner I will give it away. I threw this out when I was done with to spare anyone else the agony of trying ot read it. Just plain terrible.
