Summary: A new perspective
Review: Angela Hunt does for fiction what Christ did for religion. The reader is given the opportunity to find a new way to serve as the characters in the novel wrestle with exactly what following God's will means. Excellent food for thought for devoted followers of Christ!

Summary: A can't-put -it-down book that just might change your life
Review: Every time I read a book by Angela Hunt I'm tempted to write a review that says "this is her absolutely best book ever." Well, she's done it again with The Debt, and this time I'm not going to say it's her best because I have no doubt she'll soon write another one that tops even this. The Debt is compelling, challenging, life-changing. I loved every word.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Compelling Story
Review: The Debt is the compelling story of forgiveness, redemption and compassion told from the viewpoint of a pastor's wife who lives safely behind the walls of a popular, dynamic church. Her complacency is challenged when she is forced to come to grips with her past and encounters a faith that stretches beyond her well-ordered world. Angela Hunt always creates believable, interesting characters and settings that capture the imagination. The first person narrative of this book draws the reader right into Emma Rose's world and hold's one's attention until the very last page. There are twists and turns and elements of suspense and romance in the story line that make it difficult to put down.
The book has caused me to re-evaluate some of my own attitudes and my approach to the Christian life. An entertaining and life-changing book!

Summary: The Debt: The Story of a Past Redeemed
Review: This is an outstanding book. It will challenge your faith, open your eyes, and change your outlook on the world. Get out the tissues and plan for a day of reading. You won't be able to put the book down!

Summary: Outstanding
Review: This novel should be required reading for all Christians, especially for people who have been in the faith for many years and may have forgotten that we are called to reach out to those who don't know Christ. Let's not stay insulated in our safe sanctuaries. Let's get out and minister to a hurting culture.

I cannot praise Ms. Hunt's storytelling abilities enough. I've always loved her books, but this one is special. I'll be telling others to read it.
