Summary: Turns biblical events into a good "mystery"!
Review: Rarely has a story stayed so fresh in my mind. My second reading of this book was as enjoyable as the first. The tale is woven around the Gospels and doubts about the resurrection of Christ. Mandino's main character, true to his atheistic nature, sets out to prove that there was a well planned and executed conspiracy to make the Nazarene a martyr. The twists and turns in the plot kept me reading and wondering, "What will the result of this inquiry be?" Turning events from the bible into a "mystery" story produces a book worth reading.

Review: the christ commission is the best of all as usual og mandino draws you into the story as with all his books you just can't put them down. at first i was not happy with the begining but as i read and of course i couldn't puy it down and was drawn to the greatest story i ever read.

Review: This book changed my life! It made me look more deeply at the story of Christ's death and the events occuring around it. It tied together all of the information of the gospels to make it seem much more real to me than it had ever been before.

Review: This is a book that makes you say, "OK, so it is not doctrine, but it could've really happened this way!" The author has obviously done extensive research, yet it is fun to read rather than a book of facts. You can't put it down, but since it's short enough that you can get it read without losing your job and family!
