Summary: The Immortal by Joseph J Dewey
Review: This is the most spritual book I have read in a long time. It is in the form of a novel that depicts a meeting of a Boise man with a follower of Jesus, only he is here in this present day. Wether fact or fiction it is fascinating reading and one can hardly put it down! Believe it or not you can learn something healthy about your spiritual life. This book does not preach religion but acceptance and tolerance of all religons and people as well as a darn good story to go with it!

Summary: Answers for sincere seekers of TRUTH
Review: This is the one of the most thrilling pieces I have ever read, because it confirms what Jesus said, that there would be some that would not taste of death as written in the Bible, in Matthew. This book will make you look inward and at yourself in an entirely different way. If you believe in miricles, you will believe this one. He has made the first 21 chapters free to read on the web, by just doing a search on the title. This little free-view absolutely made me thirst for more! I had MANY inner questions answered and confirmed. As a whole, it makes for great reading and spurs you into looking forward to MORE of what the author will have to offer.

Summary: It left me hungry for more!
Review: This is the story of one man's quest for knowledge. Your eyes will be glued to the pages as you follow him on his sometimes humorous and always suspenseful journey.

Whether or not this book is fact or fiction is a moot point. This is simply one of the best books I have ever read. No matter what your preference in reading material is, you will enjoy this read. I found this book to be so intriguing and thought provoking that I could not put it down. I can't wait for the next in the series.

Summary: Get Results with this fun and inspiring HOW TO DO IT Book!
Review: This is truly a 'real life' scenario, that is inspiring in its simplicity with clear, concise principles of life. When these principles are tested through application in your own life, you will discover RESULTS do indeed occur.

Having read the first book, the combined Book 1 & 2 were gladly received as a gift, that causes one to take another look for the wisdom on every page. I recommend this book as a splendid gift for anyone, at any time of their life, since to inspire people to want to gain more in their lives and with others is the greatest gift we can give.

Summary: Enlightening and Motivating
Review: This is truly an enlightening and motivating book. If you liked the Celestine Prophecy series, you will be floored by this one. A true look into the "truth" that we are all seeking. If your thirst for truth is never quenched and you are searching for answers, this is one place to start. I see much promise in this writer my hat goes off for him.

Summary: Fresh and captivating. A diamond in the rough!
Review: Thoroughly entertaining and intensely thought-provoking, this is one of those books I keep coming back to.

It was so refreshing to read new twists on the same ideas regarding God, who we are, and why we're here. Not only did this book make me laugh, cry, and hang onto the edge of my seat, I also felt more enlightened after every read.

If you have an insatiable thirst for knowledge, The Immortal is sure to satisfy.

Summary: Good Questions
Review: Whether the story in this book is a fact or a fiction or a fiction wrapped around facts to make the story more insteresting reading - it is structured well and it poses engaging questions, putting you in a position to contemplate them, or at least giving your subconscious mind time to ruminate over them, while you follow along with what main characters in this book come up with through their own reasoning and contemplation. In that way, the book has interactive character and if you do sit down and cotemplate the questions (even if you already know, or believe to know the answers because you've been on a spiritual path for a very long time), they will help to bring out some spiritual realizations from within you.

Summary: No Better Place To Begin And/Or End Your Journey
Review: Whether you are either 8 or 80; a seasoned seeker or a someone who has just awakened to this aspect of yourself, I can think of no better tool to assist you than JJ Dewey's "The Immortal"--a story of a man and his wife's quest for "the truth".

For the "beginner", this book is what I would refer to as "an easy read", and is not full of "strange language" or unfamiliar terminologies and concepts which one needs to know and/or understand beforehand. It is truth presented and laid out in a logical, easy-to-read, easy-to-understand and easy-to-follow format.

For the seasoned seeker, The Immortal provides an indepth and logically laid out synthesis of "east meets west"; to include a wealth of insightful "answers to commonly asked questions" relating to the age-old inquiries of, "who are we?"; "what are we doing here?", and "where are we going?", and the "eternal aspect" of ourselves.

The Immortal provides "the keys of knowledge" which you can use to make those decisions to end to your status as "a seeker", and begin/start "becoming" a "self-directed" active participant (versus being directed by others) in the evolution, process and progress of your "spiritual self", *and* that of *all* humanity, and learn how to do all this in a conscious and coordinated fashion.

Agreed...this is (as stated by the author) a "fictional novel". Meaning, the story may/is fictional. However, this does not mean that the truth (principles) contained within the story are.

And, as the author will admonish you...and as I admonish you: Do not take my or his word for it. You must read it; meditate on it; contemplate on it; and study it out; and then decide for or by yourself and on your own.

If you do, I promise that you will discover that there "is something there" for anyone or everyone who is sincere and approaches their reading of The Immortal with "pure and clear intent".

Summary: NOTHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
Review: While the writing leaves a bit to be desired in spots and the story line is almost too simple, the messages are what we all are hungering for on this planet in this time and space of our lives. I did not put this book down until I completed it and if it's not the writing and not the story-line, then there must be something so compelling about the messages therein, that all who actually read this book and are at all interested in our evolution as more than just physical bodies, will have to agree it is worth reading. If the whole purpose of this book is THE SONG OF THE 144000, that alone makes it worth reading. In reading this book I noted twelve pages I want to go back to read again and again. The key to a book such as THE IMMORTAL is an expansive mind.
