Summary: Not recommended for serious study
Review: This book is a product of Ms. Andrews vivid imagination.She attempts to project Atlantis as a veritable utopia. She is more concerned with her "past life experience" on Atlantis than backing up her account with actual facts. Here are a few choice excerpts: "So try to picture yourself in Atlantis 20,000 years ago.....Perhaps, as a man or a woman, your long hair is held in place with ivory hairpins and you adorn yourself with radiant crystals to amplify your higher consciousness."

"...they were aware of the link between themselves and a greater spiritual being and focused their activities on worshipping and preserving the beautiful natural enviroment that supported them." "As they stood tall and straight,their beautiful appearance reflected inner strength and beauty." Although I commend Ms. Andrews for writing a book on Atlantis and trying to broaden knowledge on the subject, I find her lack of facts and relying on too many accounts of questionable psychics as tragically misguided.

Summary: A MUST READ for all inquisitive people;
Review: This is just a wonderful book to own. It is easy to read and understand for the person who has no knowledge of ATLANTIS; however perfect for the student also. It is top of my list for holiday giving.!!

Summary: Why I wrote this book.
Review: To satisfy my childhood belief in Atlantis, I studied and researched for many years. The result was an overwhelming desire to make what I had learned available. Combining information from scholars, scientists and psychics I describe the land which sank into the Atlantic Ocean around 10,000 B.C., the lives of it's inhabitants, and what happened to them. I explore the possibility of extraterrestrial visitors to the Earth in the past. The writing is straight forward and easily understood. My book is footnoted extensively, and includes a bibliography of over 160 sources, so the reader can check my sources, delve more deeply into any subject, and form their own opinion.

Summary: May pass for fiction
Review: Very dissapointing. Description of book indicated a very serious look at Atlantis. But what I found was more of story based on fantasy. The descriptions of atlantean society architecture, and military were based (and then stretched) from descriptions from Cayce and telepathy with individuals who passed away 10,000 - 11,000 years ago. What little information that was based on historical records or modern research was weak (if not distorted).

Summary: A compelling new look at the legendary country of Atlantis!
Review: You know of it through song and legend: the golden civilization of Atlantis, which sank into the cold depths of the sea ages ago. But few know the truth about Atlantis-or the geological and metaphysical evidence that suggests that it really existed. Discover how Atlanteen descendants influenced future cultures and what we can learn from them to better our own world.
