Summary: Exciting, Entertaining and Life Transforming!
Review: As the founder and editor in chief of ..............................I was so very anxious to read Stephanie's novels as so many people were talking about them. I began reading Sober Faith and Staying Pure and two days later I had completed them both sad that the story had ended. Sober Faith and Staying Pure individually and collectively, accuarately potray the the experiences, thoughts and feelings of teens trying to find themselves and fit into a society that is filled with peer pressure. This book was so delightful and enjoyable to read that I could not put it down and I am an adult! I plan to purchase several copies to pass out for Christmas gifts so that all the young people that I know can have the same wonderful experience. Payton Skyy, Rain, Dakari, Tad, and Lynzi experience the challenges and plights like real young people. However, by reading these books you see that doing the right thing always pays off. Especially when God is the head of your life. It is never too early to develop and maintain a relationship with Jesus Christ and Stephanie Perry Moore certainly makes the way brighter and easier knowing that you are not experiencing teen problems alone. Summary: WOW! I COULDN'T put it down!
Review: I am 14 years old and I read this 15 chapter book in three days. It was a book given to me by my mom. She said it would be a good or should I say great educational book to read. And boy was she right! When she first gave me the book to read I wasn't to pleased. But once again she proved me wrong! Not only was it educational, but it was inspiring. The characters seemed so real. It was like I could relate to them in a way. The book was so good that I want to be just like Payton Skky (the main character in the story) when I become a senior in high school. I already know for a fact that I am going to end up reading this book again later in the year. If you're looking for a great book that's hard to put down "Staying Pure" is the book to read. You will automatically fall in love with the characters.

Review: I am 28 and loved this book like I was 17 myself. I began reading it at 10 pm and finished at 2 am. It was amazing. My husband kept asking me to turn off the light. I couldn't believe that I had stayed up to read this entire book. So, guess what my teen aged students will be getting for Christmas gifts. Stephanie, thank you for walking in God's will for your life. Through your gift of writing, more and more young people will learn that it is not enough to be pretty or popular, it means nothing WITHOUT GOD! I LOVED THIS BOOK and am on to read more work from her!

Summary: Wonderful
Review: I borrowed this book from a friend of mine just because the title sounded interesting. When I first started reading it, I only read a few pages at a time, but once I was out on break, I read the entire book within two days. What made the book even more real is the fact that it was set in Augusta, GA which is my hometown. All the places that were named, I knew.This book is wonderful and I would recommend it for anyone who may stuggle in their daily walk with Christ. This book was so good that I bought the second book in the Payton Skyy series. Stephanie Moore is an excellent author.

Summary: I love this book-it as the gratest christmas gift
Review: I fell in love with this book. It was so great. Payton is a very strong person. She went through alot and she didn't give in. Stating pure was so inspirational to me. I think God sent Ms.Moore to get his word out to his teen children through writing. She did a wonderful job. I hope she realizes how doing this helps teenagers tremendously. I am now striving to be more like Payton Skky.

Summary: I wish everyone young lady would read this book!!!
Review: I picked this book up my accident! My friend and I was shopping in Walmart for some paint to finish a project. When we went pass the book stand and we started looking at books and she came across this book(Staying Pure, by Stephanie Perry Moore) and she said Aloris look at this book I was like its nice. She said no you have to read this book I thought it was a lot of bible scriptures quoted from the bible but I guess I can't judge a book by its cover. So she was like if I get for you would you read I was like yeah I would. She brought it for me and when I open that book I could not put it down. I am done reading book 1 and I am going to get the entire series. I can relate to this book alot and I am glad to know that I was not out there alone. Also I am glad that people write books about what teenagers go through. I really like this book and I wish that every young lady will read this book and get something out of it!

Summary: very good book! I couldn't put it down!
Review: I saw a Laurel Shadrach book in the store near the college I go to, and decided to get it. I couldn't put it down--it was that good! I found the second in the series--and couldn't put it down either! Then I found out that Stephanie Perry Moore also writes the Payton Skky Series. When my Christian bookstore got the books in, I was thrilled. I picked up "Staying Pure" and found that I could relate to it. Payton is a very good role model. And even though I am in college, I foud her story very good--even though I had to squeeze time in for it. Payton Skky is an African American high school senior who is soon to be a debutante. In the meantime, her boyfriend leaves her for someone who will give him what he wants--sex. Then Payton's friends all have run ins with guys all their own, and there are many more quarrels. While I have never been in a dating relationship like Payton's, I have had the same friends and classmates being jealous thing going on, and could totally relate to her there. I liked how Stephanie Perry Moore had Payton do the Christian thing when it came to forgiving all the people in her life who had done really bad things to her--even forgiving the girl who stole her boyfriend! Payton is a really good character and her stories are really really good--to the point where you will not be able to put them down! I also recommend the Laurel Shadrach Series by the same author.
