Review: This book is poorly written and rambles endlessly, so I couldn't read it word for word. But, the parts I did read I found completely half-baked. I find it totally implausible that these two could actually find their way to, and meet, real terrorists and interview them. Come on! Do they think anyone who is truly a terrorist is going to meet them and expose themselves? And they know nothing about Islam beyond the fanatical rantings of conservative so-called Christianity (and by the way, I am a Christian myself). Skip this book. Go find a REAL Muslim and talk to him or her before deciding what Islam is about. This world has enough ignorance without anyone gullible reading this book and believing it.

Summary: Facinating......
Review: Muslims have been making death threats on the life of Craig Winn. I just had to read it! Although it is fiction, the reality of what islam is rings loud and clear. It brings a lot of sense into how and why islam has corrupted its lands and followers and why they hate so much....especially the christians, but mostly the jews. I would say that the qoran and hadiths should be banned as hate literature long before Craig Winn's work is......I now know what muslims need to protect and why they need to lie about islam. It is al-takyyia (ie.lieing to preserve their religion and traditions)but the qoran and ahadiths speak for themselves. Thank you Amazon for upholding the values of free speech.....and let reason and rational thinking prevail.

some reviews were very useful to know what is there hidden between the covers of that book.
muslim's guide is named AL-QUR'AN, it is available long time ago in English, and i think it is available now in tenths of languages (may exceed 100). are we blind or we wish to be, are we dependent or independent (at least with ourselves)???
I encourage you to read the MUSLIM'S GUIDE (AL_QUR'AN) in your own language. try it and judge by yourself.

The real challenge is there in AL_QUR'AN, go ahead, find out the trueth by yourself.

Summary: Trash: Good for avid tabloid readers
Review: If you enjoy reading tabloids, and believe everything that is written in them, then you will enjoy this book. Otherwise, avoid this piece of rubbish like the plague!! The author has a personal agenda against Islam. This religion is the fastest growing religion in the world, with most of the converts being highly educated, professional individuals from the West. Craig Winn knew nothing about Islam before 9/11 and now he is educating you about it? Hitler was a christian, but that has nothing to do with christianity!

We must build bridges across the cultures. I want my children to live in more peaceful times. By spewing hatred and writing false information about other religions just to make the readers hate the muslims more, what good will that do? The author has a history that needs to be told:
Here is some background information on Craig Winn:

Founder of Dynasty Classics Corp, a maker of lighting products. A couple of years after going public, Dynasty filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Russell Schreck, president of Dynasty after the filing, blamed the problems on ''a lack of structure and discipline. You had an entrepreneur (Craig Winn) who grew the company very quickly, but he hit a brick wall. There was a lack of accounting.''

No sooner, Winn founded Value America, an online catalog retailer that sold a large variety of products. According to a front page article in BusinessWeek Magazine there were "serious questions being raised about alleged gross mismanagement, abuse of corporate funds, and the sometimes erratic and bizarre behavior of Winn, who asked that the money-losing company finance his personal jet and who dreamed out loud of running for President." The article continued, "One thing Craig Winn, a salesman at heart, could do is spin a good tale. He spent money lavishly, running through the company's cash as if it were unlimited. Meanwhile, as investors anted up more cash to keep Value America going, Winn began taking money out." In conclusion, "Value America's rise and fall is emblematic of an era of unbridled optimism and outright greed. Possibly only during a period of unprecedented valuations and a seeming suspension of the rules of finance could someone of Winn's background amass the following and the finances to get a company off the ground as quickly as Value America took flight." Craig Winn made out with at least $36 million in stock sales as he was dumping his stock while this investors were losing big.

His former Vice President for Communications, J. David Kuo, wrote a book titled "dot.bomb: My Days and Nights at an Internet Goliath," where he details how "numbers were fudged, money was burned through, and nobody seemed to know what they were doing. And then people discovered that Craig Winn had a history of this sort of thing, that his previous ventures hadn't exactly turned out to be Fortune 500 powerhouses. But by then, it was too late." He continues, "They didn't know how to build the Value America website, so it constantly crashed and was redesigned. Consumers ordered products, but they never arrived. Or they arrived months late. Or they arrived broken. Or the wrong product arrived." Kuo himself once decided to order a Weber grill through Value America. It arrived five months later.

In an Amazon.com review of Kuo's book, the reviewer writes, "It may be hard to believe that so many willing people invested their lives and their fortunes in this company. While founder Craig Winn blustered on about an inventory-less retail revolution, nobody read the fine print. Nobody stopped to consider how unworkable his plan was. Scary! Winn's plan was that VA would market its partners' brands, which supposedly numbered in the thousands (hilariously, the actual number of brands fell far short of 1000, until one enterprising manager decided a yellow highlighter was a completely different *brand* from a pink one, and that a size small jacket was different from a size medium. None of the snookered investors or auditors double-checked the claims). People bought into Craig Winn's vision, partly because he was a compelling speaker, and partly because he was never afraid to lie."

Now he's moved on to feeding people's ignorance, fear and hatred to fill his pockets. He is a regular on the 700 club, so you know he has an agenda, which has nothing to do with educating people and everything to do with making money. His claims on who he interviewed and the agencies that supposedly provided him with information are the rantings of a severely delusional person.

Review: Mr. Winn can bash Islam all he wants. The truth of the matter is if someone is really seeking god and truly wants to work ship him alone, he will not see a better way then Islam. Islam was sent for not just those Arabs, Islam is sent for all of mankind. Its funny how Winn talks about Islam wants money, sex, and power. In reality, Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him) use to tell the people, live this life as you were a traveler. He (S.A.W) used to convey the people to travel light so that it will be easier for you on the day of Judgment. He (S.A.W) didn't know how to read or write, so the Quran has to come from Jibreel to Muhammad (S.A.W). The prayer was one of the things God actually told Muhammad directly face to face. Review: This book is just stories written by someone who is uneducated by the religion of Islam. It is written proof that Winn didn't know anything about Islam before 9/11 and all of a sudden he writes a book that is filled with wrong information that will soon fill naive minds. If you want to read about Islam, there are many more helpful and TRUE books out there. This book is a waste of time.

Summary: MUST READ!
Review: Both my husband and I read this book in rapid fashion. I highly recommend it for anyone the least bit interested in terrorism and contemporary woes. While I found some of the dialogue and characters a little dry at times, the tale he weaves is absolutely captivating if not incredibly frightening. There is much critical truth in this book which is why I gave the novel 5 stars. I believe it is crucial that people understand the teachings and history of Islam so they can fully grasp our current plight.

Summary: Truth of Islam is revealed
Review: I just finished reading this book and have to say it is by far, an outstanding read. While explaining and revealing the true nature of Islam, it is curtailed in such a fashion that keeps your mind at work. In the duration of this book, I was able to capture a clear image in my head, of the occurences throughout this novel. I am utterly impressed with this authors ability to paint a CLEAR picture. I reccommend this book to everyone who finds interest in this subject. My next book to read will be , " Prohet of Doom", by the same author. Craig Winn and Ken Power really showed their brilliance in this book. Thanks again for the good read.

Summary: A must read...
Review: If you want to understand what makes terrorists, terrorists this is a must read. The authors understood that to reach the widest possible readership it was necessary to make this book entertaining as opposed to a compendium of dry facts and figures. How many people would actually wade through the Qur'an to try and understand Islam?

The authors did a fantastic job of factually pointing out why millions of Muslims fanatics are so hate filled. It starts to makes sense when taken in the context of the Qur?an and Mohamed?s own words. You can bet the followers of Islam are going to be outraged and will of course refuse to come to grips with reality. If this is peaceful religion it has a very strange way of showing it.

Please don?t take my word for it but rather read the book. Go online as I did and check out the passages quoted from the Qur?an and judge Islam for yourself. Frankly I now understand we are really in war for our very survival. These fanatics will no doubt strike this country again. We owe a debt of gratitude to the authors for being brave enough to put the facts on the table for all to read.
