Review: This book came into my hands at just the right time. I have been struggling with ministry responsibilities and God has been trying to draw me into his rest. I am still reading this book and so many things have changed in my relationship with God. Now, being alone with the word and in prayer is first in my life. God is teaching me the meaning of humility and he is pointing out my weak areas and I don't mind it. Bob Sorge has been some places in God that I in my 49 years of knowing him have not yet been.

Summary: Meat for the Hungry Heart
Review: This book is top-grade meat for the heart hungry for Jesus. It's one of my top two favorite books after the Bible. Definitely a treasure which I'll always be reading. The chapters are short, but rich. Sorge shares practical tips from scripture (not formulas!) which if applied, will usher you into the throne room. Furthermore, Sorge's writings reveal he's been there, and he's still going. Awesome revelations!
