Summary: ITS THE BEST SPELL BOOK I HAVE EVER READ!
Review: I am new to the craft as well and i thought this is one of the best books I have read.It has great spells and charms and it is very detailed.I would recomend it to others. But there is one draw back.I think there are to many rituals and not enough incantations.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This Vodoun/Witchcraft syncretist LOVED it!
Review: As a Witch who also practices Vodoun, I was comforted when I read this book. Malbrough showed me that I do not have to reinvent the wheel in combining these religions. I loved all the oils and other recipes, and the book gives me many ideas for my own spells and rituals. It's an excellent introduction to poppet magick for any Pagan! I am impressed that he dealt with modern problems such as addiction and juvenile delinquency, too.

My only complaints are that Malbrough's chants are pretty weak (but I can write my own) and that he uses folksy (read, uncommon) names for herbs.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book with good spells and items on magick.
Review: If you are looking for a book that has results and has true diagrams of all sorts of magickal things, this is the book to get! I could not put down the book and continued following the instructions in it. A complete book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Perfect for any witch at any age.
Review: I am new to the craft, and have found that this book has helped me a lot. (I found it at Wal-Mart, also!) The diagrams and spells had great results and hope future witches seek out to this book as their first. Blessed Be!

Summary: Very interesting with complete instructions!
Review: This book was one of my favorite books that I have on my bookshelf. It had all the instruction that I needed to make my own dolls, oils, incense, powders, washes and it also had a few good spells in it.It also had diagrams of all the doll rituals in it that explained how to set up your altar and where to put everything.I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in doll magick, voodoo or creating your own spell ingredients.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: An 0.K. book for different kinds of people.
Review: I am new to the craft, and I found it didn't have as many spells in it as I liked. I found it had more rituals. I would rather have a book with spells that you can just say without having to make and oil or spend a lot of money on candles.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Pretty good
Review: Nice formulas, etc., though it is written with Christian deities/Saints/etc. Also, some of the ingredients I've not heard of (and I've been involved for a couple years now), and it would be nice to have some explanations of WHY those things work. Still a nice book. And the person who wrote here before me about Satan had better do some research--neopaganism has naught to do with the so-called Devil. Twit.

Summary: Every thing form starting out to evry day spells
Review: This book is for every one, if you just start out and you have no idea how magick works this book is an exclent exsplainer. This book also gives you lotes of rituals and it sowes you who to do them. This was my furst book and I have gone a long way since I furst pickt it up here on amazon. I think that this book has every thing you need for a good life.

Summary: This is the book I'v been looking for my hole life.
Review: This book is the best if you are looking for a magic book this is the one

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An excellent beginners resouce into the lost art of hoodoo.
Review: A very informative & clearly-written book on basic hoodoo, root magick and related candle-magick principles. Easy to understand and handy measurement conversions given . Deals with charm bags(gris gris'),doll magick, candle magick as well as a plethora of recipes for oils, sprinkling powders & incense starting from scratch(which I like very much!) rather than leaning on expensive essencial oils. You make & thusly, empower all that you use in these recipes making this an excellent book for those wanting to add the personal(powerful) touch to their magickal workings. (-_-) The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it wasn't long enough!
