Rating: Summary: AWESOME!!!! Review: I LOVE this book!!!! Every time I pull it out, people are amazed at how uncannily accurate it is! The only ones who do not seem to agree are the ones the book depicts in a basically overall negative light... which has not covered many people in my encounters. I have had people read it and rush to get their own copy. The thing I find so uncanny is that this horoscope book is not limited to 12 category of people... it covers 144 categories and with accuracy.

Rating: Summary: Definitely an astrological interpretation worth reading. Review: I purchased my hardcover copy about ten years ago and I was constantly referring to it for myself or others. So many people would respond "wow...this is so much like..." followed by their name or someone else's.I was constantly loaning this book and unfortunately, about a year ago someone neglected to return it and I have been unable to determine it's whereabouts. I have never missed a book so much and look forward to obtaining a copy. You should too.
Rating: Summary: THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THIS BOOK BACK IN STOCK Review: I received the Guide to Love, but it isn't that glorious, funny & amazing as The New Astrology. So I was looking for Suzanne's own comment on her book and fans and found out that the book has been re-published again!Thank you in the name of me & all my friends!
Rating: Summary: Just like a Daily Astrology Article in your local newspaper Review: I spent 1 hour reading this book in the local bookstore. At first glance, it was very interesting because it combines Chinese and Western Astrology. After 10 minutes, I realized that the information supplied here is JUST LIKE that of a Daily Astrology Article in our local newspaper. It is vague and full of psychological interpretation. The more you use it the more wrong interpretations you will find. Its guesses about me are 90% wrong. I believe people like it because it is easy to use. You just open the book and find the Signs and Animals that match your date of birth. No charting is required! If you like this kind of book, you may also like "The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes" by Theodora Lau. Western and Chinese Astrologies are not so skin-deep as described in this book. They use many methods that are more complicated than just the Sun signs and 12 Animal Signs. Besides, Chinese Astrology is very popular in the East because it is Predictive Astrology which provides quite reliable guesses about peoples' finance, marriage, and so on. To do that you'll need a good and detailed book on Chinese Astrology. I saved my money on this one.
Rating: Summary: SUZANNE WHITE KNOCK IT OFF! Review: I was tempted to buy this book because combining east and west astrology seems like such a terrific idea...not if this woman keeps spreading the notion that cats are one of the Chinese zodiac animals! THERE IS NO CAT IN THE CHINESE ZODIAC. NEVER WAS, NEVER WILL BE. The animal is RABBIT. I'm a Rabbit, I know. EVERY other source in the world except HERS says Rabbit. The very story from which Chinese astrology is derived SPECIFICALLY TELLS US that the cat was tricked out of the competition by the rat. Why must she continue writing books with cats?! Nothing against cats, but this is false! How could she have gotten these books of hers published without someone pointing out her error?
Rating: Summary: Am I Canser or Gemini? Review: I'm a big fan of Suzanne White. I believe I've bought all the books she wrote. However, this book lacks something from Western Astrological point of view. I was born on June 21, 1963. And my caracter is nothing like Gemini. I've read somewhere else that I am Canser because on that paticular year, the time of the moon entering Canser was little different from the usual year. I wish I could ask Suzanne directly about this subject.
Rating: Summary: Sun Signs PLUS! (Even MORE specific!) Review: I'm a professional astrologer/card reader and have been for 20 years. I read this book when it first came out and slowly integrated a tiny bit of its info into my readings. Now, 15 years later, I begin every reading with "What is your date of birth?" When my client says August, 1960 and then tells me her boyfriend was born in February, 1954 I know instantly that she's a Rat and he's a Horse, two of the most incompatible signs ever to lay thier heads on the same pillow. And when Ms. Rat goes on to describe how selfish Mr. Horse is and tells me how she lays awake at night chewing her nails because he borrowed her car and her insurance bill is two days late, well. . . I can help her see that it isn't him or her, it's the connection. Because of what I've learned from this book, I know to steer her toward an easier, less stressful alliance with an equally nervous Monkey or a powerful, protective Dragon. It is nothing less than a FACT that Suzanne White SINGLE HANDEDLY popularized Chinese Astrology in America. Other authors (90% of whom made it to the bookshelf in her wake) may describe the topic in more depth, but they certainly haven't made Chinese Astrology easier to understand nor have they made it easier to apply to life. I know. I've read every book published on the subject and there is none better than Suzanne White's glorious, orginal, powerful New Astrology. Buy it and grow wiser.
