Summary: Inspires and Entertains
Review: A Christian perspective puts a refreshing spin on a familiar husband-cheats-on-wife-with-best-friend plot. Even though this story has been told over and over again in many books I've read, this one was very different in that the characters are strong Christians and they way they tackled the situation made the story a little more inspiring and hard to put down. The only thing I didn't like about the story was that I found it totally unrealistic that out of all of the wife's friends and family, none of them suggested that she leave her husband for what he did; but overall, I really enjoyed the book, it was hard to put it down once I started reading it- bottom line: I recommend it!

Summary: Excellent!!!
Review: I could not put this book down!!!! I read until 3 in the morning, 3 days in a row!!! This book was not just good "entertainment". It also ministered to me, it increased my faith, and gave me hope. I have not gone through any of the situations the characters went through, but this booked showed me how to stand and trust in the Lord!!! Victoria (author) is truly anointed...I wanted a good book to read with Black characters who were Christian...but this was more than that!

I have already shared this book with my friends in hope that it will effect them the way it did me. I especially enjoyed all the scripture references and the amount of time these characters spent in prayer. I thought that I prayed, but WHEW!! This book has got my family doing devotions in the morning before we leave each other. That's how instrumental this book has been to me.
Read this book!!!!! I can't wait until Joy is released.

Review: I purchased two copies of "Temptation" so that my husband and I could read it together. He is not a big fan of reading fiction novels, but he could hardly stop turning the pages. We had an awesome time discussing the characters, events, and all the other goings-on in the book! Ms. Murray did a fabulous job! Awesome,awesome,awesome! My husband and I found ourselves talking aloud as we were reading the book with things like, "What!" "No she didn't!" "Umph!" "Hallelujah!" I have to admit, though that as I was nearing the end I was filled with so many different emotions that I was laughing and crying at the same time.(Sign of a great book). Also, having scriptures throughout the book is certainly a blessing to anyone. I recommend this book to Christians and non-Christians, alike. BUY THIS BOOK NOW!!!

Summary: Temptation is Real
Review: From the first page I was hooked. This was written from a christian's view but I did enjoy it. Kayla to me was naive to see that Jasmine was wanting her husband. But her friend that was dating Brian could see what Jasmine was up to. She also tried to warn Kayla about Jasmine's decieving ways. This book kept me on my toes and I will use the advice in this book to alone with me and use it in my relationship. If you want to read a book about forgiving I suggest that you read this book b/c she gives scriptures and all.

Review: Oh my goodness! Talk about a book that I couldn't put down. This is one of the best books I've read so far this year. Very believable characters. A situation so close to home I'm sure almost everyone can identify with it. As a Christian we fall prey to the same temptation as everyone else. I have been telling any and everyone who would listen that this book is a must read. Ms. Murray did an absolutely outstanding job of presenting a painful situation with a realistic outcome. I look forward to "Joy" that is scheduled to come out in the Fall of 2001. Go buy this book! You will not be disappointed!

Summary: We Are All Tempted!!!!
Review: Journey with a couple who refused to let the evils of temptation destroy their love and marriage. And do they struggle for better... This is a novel that grabs you and keeps your attention. Christian fiction at it's best. A must read. Christian fiction will never be the same. Deception, betrayal, lust, anger... Refreshing. My spirit was lifted. I will buy her next novel without reading a review.
