Rating: Summary: A book of Delusional Half-Truths Review: I read this book a few years back as a young struggling Christian. Even then a few things written I had to question. The book seems contradictory to the scripture in some parts. For example, when she saw Families in Heaven. Jesus stated that there is no marriage, or giving in marriage in heaven. I believe the author wrote a nice story based on a few Biblical facts mixed in with her own vivid imagination. I suggest a better book to read on the subject would be the Bible. I believe God has intended for us not to actually see what heaven is like, to such a degree until we are actually there. As the Bible states there are things "Too wonderful for us to know"
Rating: Summary: False Materialistic dreams-read the bible instead. Review: I read this book, and I Find it absolutely outragous. the main things that tipped me off here is that she "witnesses" angels going to church services and recording how much people donate! Doesn't the bible say not to get caught up in earthly gains? so why would God care how much people donate to a church? why doesn't she also witness donations to orphanages or charities or deseise foundations? second, she starts talking about the things she see's in heaven: things like: "it looked like the most beautifly carved ornate desk I have ever seen." and the rest of these visions are just spliced together from scripture. No, her visions of heaven are nothing but false, materialistic dreams. do NOT buy into this. Pay attention to the scripture, yes, but do that from a bible.EDIT: I don't know why my first title was censored, because I used the word "Fake", not the other F word
Rating: Summary: In God I Trust! Review: I've read the entire series of the divine revelations and truly believe that Mrs. Baxter was inspired by Jesus. She has an insight that people should really take the time to listen to. Great things await us in Heaven, but we have to get there first. This book was totally backed by scriptures as the vivd images brought a warm feeling to my soul. Great things await us all, let's start by reading the Bible and then keep going by reading inspirational messages such as this one. In God I trust!
Rating: Summary: If you really believe in God Review: If you really do believe that God is real, that the Bible is His word to us, then you cannot ignore that Hell is real also. Christ himself told of the horrible reality of it, and gave dire warnings to those who ignore it. Every true believer should have such a heart for the lost as does Mrs. Baxter, and every unbeliever should have the visions of hell that the Lord gave her. If you don't believe anyway, you wouldn't even if one came from the dead to tell you, but if you do, then you must accept that her visions were from God and believe. I plan to order this book again and again and give it to as many people as i can and beg them to read it. nothing we do to bring people to Christ costs too much, takes too much time, or isn't worth the effort. this book is a divine revelation indeed and should be utilized in winning the lost as often as possible.
Rating: Summary: False Prophecy By Mary K Baxter Review: In 1 John 4:12, it states that no one has seen the Lord. It also states in 1 Cor 2:9 that NO man knows what the Lord has prepared for those who love Him. No one alive can tell us what heaven is like. In the bible, Paul has seen heaven, but is not permitted to speak about it.(2 Cor 12:1-8). If the great prophet Paul was not permitted to speak about what heaven is like, what makes you think that Mary K. Baxter is permitted to do so? This is not a personal attack on Mary K. Baxter, but I just do not want unsaved readers to be misinformed. To summary what I have read, Mary K. Baxter's visions were nothing more than dreams.
Rating: Summary: A Divine Revelation of Heaven Review: In my opinion, Mary K. Baxter is one of the most "Credible Ministers of the Gospel, in the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ!!!" For over 20 years she has been a traveling Evangelist and Missionary who has ministered in integrity and humility all over the world. As I read the first few pages I began to feel very secure because of those who read and endorsed this book, Oral Roberts, John Kilpatrick, and Jentezen Franklin. Also, "The Forward" is written by her Pastor, Dr. T.L. Lowery! He is one of the "Most Respected" Ministers in the Church of God, in Tennessee! This book helped to answer many of my practical questions I had like, "what would it be like to be in the actual Throne Room of God the Father?,"and "What Happens to Children when they die at an early age?" Also, She gives some interesting details of the Return of Jesus Christ to the Earth!!! I was alittle leary of "new visions" others were having until I read in Acts 2:16-21 where it says, God shall pour out of His Spirit in the last days, young men and women shall see visions and older men and women shall shall dream dreams!!! I believe the "Information" that Sister Mary is releasing through this book to the "Whole Body of Christ," is a "Message of Preparation and Hope!!!" I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is "Confirming" many of "His Promises to Our Present Generations" through the writings of Mary Baxter and many other Brethern who are writing similar experiences of the "Realities of Heaven and Hell!!!

Rating: Summary: If Heaven Is That Awesome Count Me In!!! Review: Just thinking of going to Heaven puts fire in my heart and tingling in my spine. The details given in this book are beneath me. Just the thought of Of One Being caring that much about us, to give all that He has is awesome. My mind can never comprehend the things that God has in store for me if I just trust and obey Him. I was reached and I want to reach the promise land. I believe everything in this book because, with God all thing are possible, I wouldn't put anything pass God. He's all seeing all Knowing and everlasting. Praise God! Mrs. Baxter be encouraged, If you didn't reach anyone, you reached me. Tracie N. Williams
Rating: Summary: May be the work of Satan... Review: Mark K. Baxter's 'A Divine Revelation of Heaven' is an extremely poor representation of Christianity. If nothing else it will leave the already anti-christian world with a good example of all things wrong with Christianity. Filled with a cartoonish, comical and often shallow veiw of the The Lord and His workings. Just the very notion that God would Himself be bound to the idea of 'time' is a blasphomious statement. In Christianity God created Time, Time did not create God. This is a book written by the star-filled mind of a middle aged middle class church going woman. It holds no true representation of Christ and His followers. The author captures only one audience in her book and that is an audience that is also star-filled with a shallow concept of Christ and the Christian faith. Her tellings hold no likeness to the Bible inwhich she quotes throughout the book; her interpretations of Bible passages are even false.(ie: Christ said no man would see the Glory of Heaven until the last day) She misrepresents Christianity to an already anti-christian world. She gives the world a picture of Heaven no man would want to spend a moment in(never mind forever) and an image of the afterlife everyone has already seen on the Disney channel! (with all its white fluffy clouds and harp plucking) Also add to that bad rhetorical skills and poor imagery skills and the book and both a literary and theological mess. This book should be offensive to anyone who does acctually have a relationship with God and His Son. Not to mention anyone who's spent 5 minutes in a creative writing course. I pray for the souls of any naive victim of this book that would take this as being a vision of what the Father truely is, and also for the soul of the false profit who wrote this book. If Jesus did tell her to write this book its obviously not for the reasons she thinks it is for!
Rating: Summary: THANK YOU!!! Your Book Was Live Changing For Me & Others Review: Mrs. Baxter: Thank you for being such a devoted discple to Jesus Christ. Because of your book, I got my life back on track with Jesus. Once I read the book, I gave it to my friend, who became saved after reading it. Then to my brother, who is in the process of getting his life back on track. Your book is bringing people to the lord. A divine Revalation of HELL, keeps me on track in my walk with the lord. I used to always questions Hell in my mind of "how bad could it possibly be" I know now. I will do all I can to prevent any of my friends/family from going. I now tell as many people as I can about Jesus. I also tell them he is coming back for them. I am getting ready to read your Revalation of Hevean. I am very much looking forward to it. I have heard many wonderful things about. Thanks to you my friend has came to the lord and my walk is back on the right track. God Bless You!! Your sister in christ, Shelly Robison
